Having been inspired by both the Sonic All Stars Racing and FZero GX announcers, I decided to try my hand on this with credit going out to DarkyBenji for making his mod reuseable found here, https://mb.srb2.org/addons/f-zero-gx-narrator.2357/ to bring the Daytona Announcer not only from the first game but also the second and championship edition!
Every time a map loads, it generates a number between 1 and 3 with 1 taking the voices from Daytona USA, 2 from Daytona USA 2 and 3 for Daytona Championship.
Sounds added are:
Race Start - Start Your Engines!/This is your crew chief, the course is tough so good luck! (For hell maps, thank you Togen for the code for checking if maps are hell!)
Countdown - 3, 2 ,1, GO!
Final Lap - The white flag is out! This is the final lap!
1st Place - A New Winner!
Console commands:
dusa_an #: Changes how the announcer is handled with 5 choices available
0: Disables the announcer
1: Only Daytona USA
2: Only Daytona USA 2
3: Only Daytona USA CE
4: Random (default)
dusa_an_enable On(default)/Off: Enables or disables addon functionality to everyone on the server, only accessible to server owner/admin.
