ABILITIES:

Dinner Blaster (Spin):

Press Spin to shoot an exploding meal. Be careful when using this ability, though - you aren't immune to explosions!

Firing the Dinner Blaster during a Grand Slam (see below) will launch you downwards! Use this for cool maneuvers!

Grand Slam (Double Jump):

Double jump to leap into the air and come slamming down into the ground! This move doesn't require you to directly hit an enemy to kill them; when you land, any enemy within a small radius will be hit!



Oh, and you can taunt. I'm not gonna tell you how, because it's not like you need to. You gotta have SOME incentive to play, right? Now stop reading this and go figure out the taunt keys!! Shoo!! Away!!

Since you're still reading this, I might as well tell you something. This entire mod was made in ONE WEEK. Can you believe it? Pure PEAK, made in 7 days?? Jokes aside, this is why a lot of sprites are missing; although it's not like I can do much for sprites with a character that has no arms. It should (keyword: SHOULD) look fine!! I may update it to include more sprites, but this was all just a fun little challenge to see if I could indeed make a mod in a week. In fact, I never even planned to release this!

Now go download it!! This sounds cliche, but I genuinely hope you have as much fun playing as I did making it!

Oh yeah and uhh most of the joke aspects of the mod are from old 2000s YTPs. Trust me this mod would've been far, far worse if I used today's memes

i swear i actually like this moveset

My only slight complaint is that there's no option to turn the walking/running sound off. It is funny, but it gets annoying quick.

but on the other hand one of the best joke characters

For a mod made in a week and a meme/YTP mod, this is pretty good. I usually really don't like meme mods that try to be bad because that's funny somehow (when in reality the author is just too lazy to learn how to sprite) but characters like Soap are what make me thrive for memey but good mods.

Sprites (2.5/5)
I know, I know, this mod was made in three weeks but I feel like you could've made a couple of more sprites, like a 1-up icon on the monitor and the signpost sprite. The overall quality of the sprites isn't great but what can you expect from a mod made in a week.

Moveset (3.3/5)
For a mod made in a week, this moveset is surprisingly really fun. I may not be a master at it after playing with it for a couple of hours but it definitely has potential. I do wish you could rocket jump as Buggie suggested. Also, I don't know if this is a bug but Cattino can do another Grand Slam after the hop from one. If it is a bug, please don't patch it it's actually so much fun. Chicken Dinner is pretty useless in attacking but it's good to use for going down.

Conclusion (2.5/5)
I know it's a meme mod and that it was made in a week but I feel like there's still some improvement left to be found. If you're gonna make another character, I think it'd be neat if you didn't tie yourself to a deadline because I genuinely see you succeding as a mod maker. Have good luck in the future!

i only "tied myself to a deadline" because it was meant to be a challenge

this mod is not my magnum opus i am capable of far better sprite work

also the the grand slam thing is not a bug you're meant to be able to do that

Welcome to releases! This character's walking and running sounds totally caught me off guard while playing, I wasn't able to find out what the secret emote was but I'd say the memes that you've put are, kinda old in my opinion but still, funny.
