Blossom is a raccoon who aspires to venture the world. Born with aerokinesis, she's able to manipulate the air around her into a powerful tornado.

Having encountered Sonic the Hedgehog and his gang, she decided to test herself and try her hardest to keep up and contribute.
Vine Lash
Press the jump button in the air to lash onto her foes, or walls. She'll automatically lunge toward them and damage her foe, or cling to the wall, after which point she may perform a wall jump.
If she has no target, press jump in the air again to pull herself toward the vine. She will not lose any speed from this.
Tornado
Press spin at any time to start a raging tornado that will destroy all badniks that get in it's path. It rises her upwards just slightly, as well, so it can be used to traverse large gaps.
She can cancel the tornado at any time by pressing spin at any time during it. Additionally, if left with no tornado, she can perform an air twirl that halts all vertical momentum regardless of the situation.
Drill Dive
In most situations, if you press jump and spin at the same time, she will perform an unstoppable dive straight to the floor. It's risky, but grants a lot of speed if used correctly.
Hold spin when touching the ground and she will perform a drop-dash like move which grants her more speed depending on how far she's fallen or how fast she's moving at the time.
She is not impervious to spikes, but she can destroy floors below her.
Both her Tornado and Drill Dive are affected by each shield.
Blossom focuses a lot on how her different moves interact with each other. As such, there are few states in which you cannot input anything. Experimentation and precision is key.
She's not alone however... she's paired with her trusty pet!
The Flimp is a pet of hers that she noticed following her a lot. Together, they're pretty capable. Sure, it may not be as fast as Blossom, but it can reach places she never would be able to as quickly.

The Flimp has limited flight which it can use to get up to high places and carry momentum.
Headbutt
The Flimp is capable of bashing against it's foes to deal damage, and gain speed.
Air Dive
The Flimp can dive headfirst downwards and carry it's momentum into a slide afterwards. If it presses jump during the dive, it'll do an aerial headbutt instead.

Deoxyius and I handled sprite work together! It's been a fun experience.
