Honestly, that's really what I had in mind for this, (I'm glad that someone actually noticed this) also blame the OG Amy hammer move for that lag lol, maybe I can find a way to have you cancel the Tail-Attack move into her Tail-Hop (without it slowing you down), I feel like that she prob have "true tech" now
I had a small think about that. If the tail-attack didn't had any landing lag then it would be basically work like the grab-dash from P.T. It instantly accelerates you to top-speed, launches you towards any enemies and also can be used to make quick dodges! And for the tail-bounce, I don't know what STJ was smoking when making Fang's tail bounce, but why it cancels all your speed for no reason!
If he already wasn't weak enough!
But atleast you can do this!
And If there could be a modified version of this moves for Swift then it would work like that:
-No momentum cancel when entering bounce state.
-No land lag for the tail-dash, which means that you can use it for quickly accelerating, something like a grounded and weaker thok.
-Being able to enter bounce state mulitple times mid-air (This is actually possible, but maybe only when the mom. cancel gets sorted out...)
-Tail-dash state gets cancelled after being mid-air for a few seconds letting you perform other actions.
I think I would have more ideas but my brain is kinda tired now.
And for the bounce state, I actually found more things than expected to:
So I will explain all the semi-strats you can have with
SF_MULTIABILITY on:
-You can have a built in SA1 uncurl, but only when you spam jump. -.-
[0:00-0:16]
-You for some reason can exit bounce-state WITHOUT momentum cancel, allowing you to keep your speed from any slope bounces like in the E.C demonstration.
[0:16-0:23]
-You can cancel the height you get from the bounce allowing you to make quick and high hops.
[0:25-0:45]
Overall, this works pretty good, but it's also pretty jank. Mainly because of the "SA1 uncurl" a.k.a momentum killer thingy, which I don't think should be an actual ability, because as of now we have a "it's not a bug, it's
feature" situation on our hands. But all of the other stuff works pretty good and you pretty much could just check it out yourself and see if you could implement this flag in the next update.
And if you didn’t notice already, I wrote an actual review for this addon. :3 And I can’t tell if you even saw it so I rather just mention this to you.
