I will give this addon 5 stars. And not because it's groundbreaking or anything like that, but because I can see the pure passion radiating from this addon. And even if some of these sprites may look rough in some places (as of v1.1) I can still recognize that you're a really good artist, and that the only thing that stops you from making this addon PEAK/10 is the fact that you mostly make regular art, and not angled sprites.
But I have insider info... (a.k.a the w.i.p thread) and I know that when the new sprites and features will start slowly flowing in, this review will age like milk in just mere months from writing it. And that's the second reason why I already gave this addon 5 stars! :D
And for such a simple character design, you really did a great job with showing Swift's entire personality in just a few sprites! I also look forward to the updates when you finally implement rest of the character cameos you have in mind!
In my opinion this addon shines mainly with sprites and not the gameplay (because she's just a larger Fang if he wasn't a complete push over...) but even if for some people that might be a bad thing, I think that the fact itself that she has fully custom sprites for already existing moves (and has a build-in support for many other addons too.) evens the lack of custom moves/lua out. And SRB2 is made in such a way that playing as any character should be fun as long as the stages are well designed!
I hope I didn't fumbled the bag with this review... I never wrote one myself until now so it might read kinda rough... That's why I never write them, and If I actually do write something resembling one, I just choose to put my them in the addon's discussion thread instead. :C
(But still, the most fun I had with this addon was not by playing as the character itself, but actually making many both "official" and custom sprites for it! :D I just hope I didn't came off as rude in this review. :'D)
