Has echoes appeared anywhere outside of this? I think they probably appeared in SRB2 Adventures, but I think that series got canned, and I can't find any more than 2.
Outside of SRB2 sphere, yeah. I've drawn her quite often over on my twitter account, which is where most (if not all) of my OC content is at!
I do one day wish to make something bigger with all of my characters. So hopefully that day will come soon enough!

When I am playing as Echoes, Abyss will automatically respawn after I get hit, effectively giving me infinite hit points.

Sure you aren't using a mod that conflicts her vulnerability system or using an outdated version of the game? Though I don't know what instance Abyss could come back all the time after tanking a hit.

Most I'm aware of is hitting a checkpoint brings them back.
