Sonic CD uses pallette changes for the past/future thing, and in all honesty, SRB2 pallette changes become null whenever water is introduced(maybe it's the colormap, I dunno). Also, we have the whole "no relative teleport" thing to deal with. God, this is going to be one hard to do project...
