Incidentally, I can only think of one boss that even remotely involves lasers, and that was the race against Metal, where the laser merely instakilled you when you fell back too far.

Why Eggman didn't just install several more of those and create a trap that was impossible for Sonic to escape, I have NO idea.
 
umm... Because sonic is extremely fast. Robotnik has to set up in each place he gets to in a hurry; if he had the "time" to make the ultimate machinery before sonic got there, he would. But, because sonic is so fast, he doesn't.

Well if Sonic is so fast then, why don't you get attacked by the egg hammer bot at every boss act in sonic advance 2? or 1? or every Sonic game? :twisted:

Well yeah, but if Eggman dosent have time to make the next big thing, why do you verse his next big thing?

Everyone knows Eggman is faster than Sonic. I mean, just look at Final Zone, Death Egg, and any other sequence where Eggman runs away. Eggman is SO much faster than Sonic it's not even funny ^_~

Because the games are programed that way. If all of the hardest robots were first and the easy robots were last, people would complain, the game would get bad reviews, and it wouldn't sell well.

And believe me, I would rather fight a swinging ball and chain for the first boss instead of the crusher and spark machine.
