Perhaps. I never actually looked at it in Doombuilder, to see HOW far it was putting me back, I just figured it was a lot, because it always took me forever to catch up.

Depends; are you drifting? Speed pads and drifting don't play nice.

What do emblems have to do with scripts?

Emblems were part of the plan, originally. As for scripts, I just can't write for her.

Frankly, I never understood everyone's beef with navigation here. There's only one real way to go. Where else are you gonna head off to? The wall? The OTHER wall? The pit? Behind you? To space? It also doesn't seem like you'd lose navigation more than once. I can understand maybe getting mixed up on the first lap, but by the second and third laps of your first race there, you should surely get it by then.
Sharp learning curves aren't fun in a Mario Kart track. It should be intuitive to know where to go from the very start. And the problem is that there are a lot of short dead ends in some places, which you won't realize are dead ends until you're already headed straight for them. The arrows, similarly, are hard to see until you're right on top of them, which isn't nearly enough time to react.

But just where are these dead ends? I have no idea what could possibly be a dead end, except for the S curve which is comprised of a wall in front of you, a wall to the side of you, and an opening. I have no idea how people can't figure this out. It may just be because I made it, but really, how many other dead ends are there?

Why is their a pony in metal city just looking at you from that tower I found the passage to get to It and......... I was You!!!!!D00D64 Edit1: ah another! Edit2: you're everywhere! o.o

I'M THE KING OF EVERYTHING!!

Oh also D00D updated the first post's images with my cropped palette-limited.png versions. So they should load fast-ish and not take up as much room. Also means he can post more images now.

This is all you, since not only did I test them, THEY tested them (other players AND mods that NEED to test them to accept them, thus you're implying that mods/judges arn't doing their job either) and got it running fine, with neither of these bugs happening. I run through these courses several times each, even running through them for the sake of time trial, and it never happens. This is something on your end, not mine. Either that, or you're holding an item out behind you as you die, which instantly crashes, and you're misinterpreting this as a sigsegv. This happens on EVERY Mario Kart course in SRB2 Riders, so this is not my doing.
D00D64 is right about the sigsev concern, I tried that myself (holding an item while falling off) and it sigseved me.

As I said before (I don't actually remember if I posted it or not) you shouldn't make the Speed Pads throw players in a fixed direction, but in the direction they entered the Speed Pad sector, just like the Mario Kart games. That'd help a lot, you know.

I dont have a choice in the matter. Hell, current speed pads arn't even LIKE real speedpads. I need to replace them with nerf'd Max Pads (the pink pads), but those seem to be buggy too (sometimes, you can only use them once, and I have no idea why). Unless CZ64 makes a proper boost pad, we're stuck with these pads.

...uh, how is this a "bug"?

it WAS a bug, but I decided to leave it in due to the tune for Lakeside Park being far better, and because I wasn't porting that any time soon.

Nice work, but I'll call you a king if you can make a record in Cloud Cradle.

Uh, D00D? I noticed that the textures you used were from Spherallic's Asset Pack and you didn't credit him for those.

Edit:
Sorry about that. Miscalculations happen.

Excuse me? Sphere isn't the only one who worked ont hat you know. For example, I got permits for Blade's casino textures long before the (2.0) Asset Pack was even around, even throwing in a few of mine for good measure (seeing as the textures are so huge, making them hard to use for smaller objects).

Maybe you should not look for the smallest and most insignificant details to criticize what ever D00D makes and let the actual texture creators or spriters alert it to him instead if they're worried. Oh, and actually knowing the correct people for who did what, as Sphere's Asset pack is a mish-mash of textures, some of which were made by other people than him. No offense.

Edit:
So we were playing D00DKart today...

And found out that Lakitu's a genius.
