(Also... is it just me or does he seem to care more about the addon’s development than the actual developer himself? Like I could understand the word "phase" in a wrong way, like for example a phase of development, but to me it seems like he’s asking on how long he plans to mourn for... and I don’t think that you can plan the amount of time you can mourn for like "I’m giving myself a week max and then back to work!" there’s no deadline for trying to get over a death of someone you cared about...)

I mean, calling a thread dead just after a week is kinda disrespectful (for a lack of a better word), and smoklyre doesn’t seem especially happy about this either, and him working on this addon is probably the last thing he worries about at the moment.
And I more so meant that using the word "plan" is not the best for this situation, because you can’t plan out emotions, and it’s probably quite tough to accuratly point out the moment you’ll be able to move on from something like this. So the anwser to your question wouldn’t be the clearest either way.
But still, I’m sorry if I offended you, but I just feel like this is a bit of a soft topic, and it’s just better to give smoklyre time, because from experience working in a bad mental state drops quality of your work in like 50% unless you really force yourself. (Which still isn’t the best...)
(And ye... looking back at it, I did write the earlier reply in a kinda arrogant tone, I’m sorry...

hey guys, news for gens
its going to be in semi-hiatus
as in progress will become incredibly slow
by june 16, classes will start again so vacation's over, and my free time is gonna be filled with exhausting stuff at day, leaving me just wanting to jump to my bed and sleep.
and i dont really feel like i can work on this project like i used to for some time. im still processing it all. any attempts of mapping anyways just resulted to stuff i don't really like or doesn't fit.

It's completely fine, don't apologize. You really deserve a break because you've been working on this so hard, and if you have school going on, nobody can blame you for not being able to work on the mod. I understand how hard it is to balance school and modding because of the overwhelming demand for energy from both. If you're not satisfied with how the mod's going right now, just rest and come back when you feel better, I find this really helps because it makes you feel refreshed and you get a new view on things. In conclusion, take the break you deserve, and we will all be waiting for you, and good luck!
