[Open Assets] PVPalette [PVPAL-v3.3.pk3] v3.2

Some time before 2.2 released I made a quick 2.2 palette mod, in hopes of it being the first 2.2 mod in Releases. When 2.2 released and submissions was closed for a week I realised this wasn't gonna happen, so I took my time to edit the palette and make it perfect. And now I bring that palette to you!

v3.3: Edits to grey and gold, minor edits to the colourmap



v3.2: Edits to the colormap to make DSZ look better, and better fades overall
v3.1: Slight edits to the lighter shades of red and orange
v3: Made green, peach, brown, and beige more saturated, gave gold a bit of hue-shifting to look better in GFZ, added extra flash hues in the unused flash palette slots for mods to use
v2.1: Added a colormap for smoother fading
v2: Smoother hue-shifting for some colour ramps, added hue-shifting for orange, neon green, and magenta, edited flash palettes

Well... I guess I can put it in releases... but I'm really not seeing that much of a difference. Like, I can see there is a difference, but like... barely.

I tried to keep it close to the original colours to prevent any graphical glitches, but I suppose I could change some things up.

Updated to v2. This update includes some edits to certain colour ramps and some new colour ramps receiving hue-shifting.

Updated to v2.1. This update includes a colormap to make sure stuff doesn't look weird.

Looks neat, and i do prefer it to the vanilla palette, but its just so similar to vanilla in so many ways...

I'll share a positive comment here for once, to dissipate all of the "it looks so similar", I really like this palette :p

It looks a lot more saturated, and although that might not be to everyone's taste, personally I love me some good saturation.

Updated to v3.0. I've tried to make it look less similar to the default palette since a lot of people seem to think it's too similar.

I mean I always thought of this as a Pallet Improvement mod, rather than it trying to be too too different. Though I do think it being less similar IS good. I like the pallet alot. And I never thought it was "too similar" because I probably had different expectations. Random talk aside, great mod.

Can you edit individual palettes for characters? If so, can you give Sonic, Tails and Knuckles their respective Mania palettes?

Currently there isn't a way to edit the palettes of individual characters, and if there was then it would probably mark the game as modified. I have attempted to make the blue, orange, and red colours of the palette similar to how they looked on Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in Mania though.

I love this palette! The vivid colors really helps bring in the aesthetic improvements that 2.2. added. Gives SRB2 a sleek, modern look more along the likes of Mania IMO

Updated to v3.2. I've made some edits to the colormap to make DSZ look less annoying. This will probably be the final update, unless I find something else that annoys me.
