[Open Assets] Pets: Personal Followers 3.3e

Is there a tutorial to follow for adding pets? I get sigsev'd whenever I try to load the pet I made the game sigsev's. and I properly freeslotted the sprites that we're added, along with those respective sprites being added to the local PetsToAdd, and added the sprites to the sprites file, am I missing anything else I need to add for it to work?
