Here's one of SEGA's oldest characters to join the race.
From the 1982 arcade game, it's the block-pushing penguin, Pengo!
He carries both 4 weight and 4 speed, which makes him a bit on the lighter side, favoring acceleration over maximum speed and raw drift power, but without going too far into the extreme.
For his "voice", he uses a variety of sound effects from his original game, all ripped through MAME. (and since getting of the sound effects involved hex editing to remove background music, and having to pull off that three special block bonus without a Game Over, it was a bit annoying to do.)
