If you watched his content or lurked in his discord this was kind of something you'd have seen coming sooner or later. I'll admit I enjoyed some of his critiques because he was willing to be constructive in his criticism (Such as some of his OLDC videos) and clearly knew what he was talking about to some degree (he knows how to use Zone Builder and has published his own Character Mod before) but part of the problem was his insistence on making it needlessly harsh, not to mention the more recent videos where he really started laying it thick with the hate for "Nu-STJR" without really going into detail on why. Not really helping the fact was that his discord server eventually turned into a place for people to gossip and shit on anything new posted either by STJR/KK or someone popular in the community, where people really wouldn't be told "hey that's not cool, don't do that".
This combined with his Youtube comments which were mostly impressionable people agreeing with him I believe created this sort of echo chamber of negativity that made his own actions seem justified. "All these people agree with me, so I must be in the right!" sort of mentality that also made him to being very adverse to criticism of himself or being challenged on his ideas, even if said ideas might contradict each other. As an example he criticizes Charyb in this very thread for not contacting him through Message Board DMs even though they were literally in contact with each other prior through Discord DMs which he then proceeded to block them on after jeering. Also how they accuse them of being angry when to an outsider looking in, he absolutely comes off as far more angry and spiteful in his exchanges than Charyb does (literally implying that he should be the one forgiving Charyb??) It's weird, self-centered behavior that is probably the result of spending so long in the community criticizing and backtalking others that when people give him mild criticism (and aside from that one comment it really has been mild compared to what he dishes out) he would rather play the victim.
I don't bring these things up to beat the dead horse of "Sandwichface is a bad person!" especially since he's finally banned now, but to highlight how we probably got here in the first place, as well as to provide some of my own closing thoughts on the matter because there was a bit I wanted to say but did not get the chance to yet. I don't imagine he will do some introspection and realize where he went wrong (because he probably doesn't believe he has) but I sincerely hope that one day (in the VERY far future) he can come back and be a more productive member of this community.
That's such a good capstone of a post that this thread could really end here, but I feel like there's one thing I would be negligent to not clear up. I was asleep for when most of this thread went down, but I saw quite a few posts analyzing the silly NDA thing he wrote, like there was a misunderstanding between the two of us.
To clear that up, here was my actual response to it. So yeah, there was no misunderstanding.

This... Makes his earlier behavior seem especially disingenuous as the way he framed it was that you had agreed to his initial agreement thing, and my follow up replies gave this the benefit of the doubt as I had assumed he must have access to all of the related messages still and your agreement would have been right underneath the portion he posted which he was claiming a specific part of was breached. However, going by this expanded screenshot it appears as though you never agreed to that initial statement at all and instead proposed an alternative simplified agreement which he then agreed to. Assuming that he was consciously aware of this while sharing his side of events earlier, it gives the impression as though he might have known full well that he wasn't a victim and that you didn't do anything that you had agreed not to, which could lend credence to the idea that the whole thing was staged drama for him to use to use as drama content for his videos to farm engagement.
I still don't want to push any outright accusations and I still don't claim to be a mind reader, but assuming everything checks out here regarding the information in that more recent expanded screenshot you posted I find it hard to think of a way for his statements in this thread to have not been deliberately misleading. He was very adamant about you breaking a promise you apparently never made, which makes playing devils advocate quite challenging. I absolutely do not want to accuse him of anything unfairly, but as the situation stands presently something at least doesn't smell right from my layman's perspective.

I can't tell if I'm missing context here or if he's pulling most of this out of the ether. "I gravely underestimated what this community is capable of when it's angry." What does he mean by this? Surely he's not just talking about his ban? I'm not aware of anything more drastic than him getting banned happening, and him getting banned is, well, Thursday all things considered. People get banned as consequences for their behavior from many communities on a regular basis. Did something else happen prompting him to say this, or is it just a massive overreaction? "Despite their best efforts, however, I'm not changing my stances on anything." I haven't seen any context for this either. Which stances of his did the SRB2 community try so hard to make him change? "I'm still standing after all this time." He makes it sound as if he's a victim of the community banding together to take him out or something, which definitely did not happen. If anything, people are far more concerned for his mental well being than they are against him.
Honestly the more I try to understand and rationalize his actions the more my head hurts. I genuinely hope he's able to recover and move past... Whatever it is that's going on with him. It seems like he might be going through some heavy emotions that are clouding his perception of things, and if so I hope he'll be alright.

Could you elaborate on what you think is immature and rude? I've been going out of my way to try to be respectful and my previous post was intended to ask if there was additional context that explains why he said the things he did in the screenshot and to wish him well if it's the result of rough emotional times he's going through, since I have a hard time with trying to understand and rationalize it. If I messed up and did something rude, I'd like to know so I can avoid it in the future.

And what mean by "immature and rude" is some of the people in this thread after Sandwichface ban, was coming as smug, name-calling or out being mean in general (again, I'm not going to say names because I don't wanna too many people replying to me because it makes me very anxious)

As much as I'd love to be wrong, I have a gut feeling he's going to change his mind about dropping all this and leaving the community. Especially if he's waving around his supposed talking points in his Discord, whatever the hell he even intends to accomplish with that.
It would be so much more healthy for himself and us if he did, but let's be real, part of his claim to fame is his SRB2 content and I doubt his content would get the same kind of traction without it. Again, I'd love to be wrong, if he can be passionate about something that doesn't make him act the way he does then I genuinely wish nothing but the best for him. But somehow I don't feel it's as black and white as that.
Who knows, either way I think we got a good breather now.

i got the same impression, to be honest. He has things to say and he will not let them go unsaid
He seems upset that it wasn't simply NuSTJR/Staff that objected to what he was saying, but regular users on the site who also agreed that he was acting absurd and calling him out for how rudely he's been acting in general. Face won't just leave quietly in my opinion. His popularity is based off his SRB2 review/discussion videos so i would be surprised to see him try to shift from it, if he does then that's great it's a far healthier option than continuing to obsess over this community.
Anyway, Glaber's ban is something that has hit me hard in particular due to enjoying his presence in the community, he's a very creative individual whose also been willing to help people out regarding level editing on the Discord, not to mention how helpful his efforts on the previous OLDC were either on his short time as a staff member. I second this. Glaber helped out a ridiculous amount of both of my OLDC levels. I hope he can return sometime soon, he was working on a really nice looking casino level I believe.
Agreed. @clairebun this means you in particular, cut that out and don't stoop to that level.
Pretty sure the discussion here has pretty much ran its course. I'd like to see myself not have to lock this thread for becoming, like, "report to clown on the latest drama."
If anyone thinks they have something to post here, think long and hard about whether you really have something new which needs to be said.

I don't remember having many interactions with him myself, but one thing I do remember is that a while back I created a topic to bring attention to what was at the time lost media, an old little SRB2 Fangame called SRB2 Advance. As I recall, the game ended up becoming found media only because Glaber also remembered the game and just so happened to have an old copy of it installed, which he then uploaded for preservation. The game might very well have still been missing now if not for him, so I'm thankful for his contribution.
