internally this has been a thing late october, v6 is projected for a release within January 2025 at this rate.

directive for the future is pretty jangled, we're debating on either these two options:
Option A - Polish current build and save the unfinished content for a theoretical '6.1'
Option B - Wait for our spriters to finish up the unfinished sprites (one being complex animation), releasing as '6.0'
edit: here's the spriter situation in detail

The current build is more than enough content and decently futureproofed if a 6.1 has to happen, so option A isn't the worst case. Even as the opportunity for free-time starts tapering, especially on Spork's end (thank his child for that one :3), I do hope this mod comes out fairly soon within the next 3 months. The release will give me opportunity to leave, I don't really like any of this anymore nor do I plan on sticking along after the release. This mod my very well be my last part with the SRB2 community as a whole, even if minor.

thx yall, have fun when this comes out!!! ;>
well... it wouldn't be bad if release a polished version with the content trimmed and for a future release a hypothetical 6.1 with what is missing, so they take a break from all that too...

but if they want to take the decision to complete what is missing... I'm not going to argue, just... good luck 👍

I think you guys should polish current build and do the unfinished content for a next update it's then more than enough so you guys can take a break or I don't know what to said right now
I understand the situation and I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your everyday life after this
personally prefer this, spork js had a kid give the man a break

i prefer Option A:
Spork has been working on this to much time, he has a son now, so he can take a break of this mod, the unfinished content is something we can wait, like the SASonic Updates

Honestly, I think both could go well.
If he goes option A, like others say, he will be able to take a break, BUT he might work on it later.
If he goes option B, he could get it finished and have nothing to do with it ever again afterwards.
yeah, but, some spriters are in his own life, and spork will to work on other things too, even he has to work later, i dont think is too much content for a v6.1, he has to still working on the mod if i chose B, but i prefer A

msv6 is like: they grabbed rush,fontriers,colors,forces,sa2,sa1,rush adventure, advance 1 2 3. and unleashed, put it in a blender and then stuck it in srb2
frontiers, sa1, sa2??

option a seems ideal imo.

I know, but what I'm saying is that, if he wanted to, he could discontinue the mod after v6, hell, he could do it now if need be.

I think I prefer Option B:

I wanted a couple of more HUDs but Spork has a kid and I don't wanna be my 13 year old self again. So he deserves a break with his new family.

He's becoming a dad for God sake and he can't do this forever. Being a dad is important to a child's life.. so B is the way to go.

Like Vergil from DMC would say,

"Things end Dante, even us."

I Wnat This To Release Already So Just option A

i always preffer the good things with time before bad things in short time (i hate you 2006)
It Would Be Better If They Archived The Game To The 2007 Sonic Anniversary Instead Of Rushing It And Making The Sonic Gamr With The Longest Loading Time Ever (But Only In The Sonic Catalog Cuz A YT Got A Longer Loading Time In The 2005 Shadow Game, Also Sonic Riders Came Out In 2006 Before Sonic 2006 So Riders Is The True Sonic 06)
Post automatically merged:

I prefer option A
spork can take a break and there will be no more beggers for msv6
But Then Beggars Will Beg For MSv6.1
