So, with Kou finally being released, that means we have 3 of the 5 characters from the Kart addon in base SRB2, leaving only 2 of them. Those being Hops the Coyote and Annie the Cat.

That is...if you're planning on expanding StephChars beyond Kou?

(well tbh im not updating it anymore considering ring racers exists and I much prefer it)

Though one thing I noticed - he can't actually beat MP Special Stage 1 because he doesn't fit in the little areas on the corners, so no using the MP Special Stages in SP mod for this one!

Edit: You can beat the Egg Slimer by parrying the slime back into him this mod is amazing

Kou is beautiful, my favorite of your OC's to play for sure and he played more or less like I expected kind of like an 'Ultimate Knuckles', I kept saying in my mind while playing. A faster, yet much shorter, 'glide' with his wolf missle, and a harder to control but more satisfying drill claw with the titan drop.

I'd call him a more advanced character cause he is so fun when I can get him to bully through levels with his aoe splash attacks, leap extensions and parries but when I have to slow down and be precise it's a bit nerve wracking since both his wolf missle and titan drop are built to make him ZOOM off, even when no direction is held he seems to bounces off a bit more than I'd like, so when I have to destroy an awkwardly placed monitor or robot on a small platform I usually end up falling to my death. The better option I think is to use his big moves to skip the small stuff and charge ahead.

Also the GALL to give him a taunt that with the 3S parry sfx that doesn't parry and an ACTUAL parry with a different sfx... absolute madness :dramahog: 5 stars.

uhh i dont think you need to go into the pillars to get all the spheres needed but i could be wrong
 
i tested via objectplace and no, kous titan drop cannot parry 2.0braks hand grab when you stand on his head, you still must get off his face to secure damage.

and arma gives you one use of your emerald chargeattacks

Much as I love Kou, fighting Metal Sonic is painful. I had to dive-press him for the first hit, then walk up and parry the contact damage for the second, each time he can be hit. If you actually charge a punch the knockback sends you off the arena in a state you cannot use any moves to recover in.
For a mercy you do two damage by parrying, so it takes only four cycles AND you can parry all of his attacks

Yeah I also learned this the hard way, on the last OLDC's Metal fight which is slightly more painful lol. Fighting Metal with Kou is most effective just standing center stage while not moving and parrying everything, waiting for him to zoom in and line up your wolf missle in a way that won't rebound you off stage. Ends up being a pretty unique way to fight Metal.

Generally wolf missles/titan drops and parrying make little robo skirmishes during levels more fun than normal tho.
