uhh i dont think you need to go into the pillars to get all the spheres needed but i could be wrongOh hey, Kou's finally out! Let's gooooooo
Though one thing I noticed - he can't actually beat MP Special Stage 1 because he doesn't fit in the little areas on the corners, so no using the MP Special Stages in SP mod for this one!
Edit: You can beat the Egg Slimer by parrying the slime back into him this mod is amazing
Yeah I also learned this the hard way, on the last OLDC's Metal fight which is slightly more painful lol. Fighting Metal with Kou is most effective just standing center stage while not moving and parrying everything, waiting for him to zoom in and line up your wolf missle in a way that won't rebound you off stage. Ends up being a pretty unique way to fight Metal.Much as I love Kou, fighting Metal Sonic is painful. I had to dive-press him for the first hit, then walk up and parry the contact damage for the second, each time he can be hit. If you actually charge a punch the knockback sends you off the arena in a state you cannot use any moves to recover in.
For a mercy you do two damage by parrying, so it takes only four cycles AND you can parry all of his attacks
Althoughsimple, the size of kou in his sprites is not the same as the size of the hitbox in the game
SF_HIRES
and highresscale
exist. Which can fit his sprites size easily. Without the need to make the same size as Sonic for example. Which is the default size for characters that DON'T use SF_HIRES
and highresscale
at all.
