SRB2: Generations

i'll have to stop updating this later for a week or three days since exams coming up next week, though i did began preparations for cez-m (even if i havent even actually touched dsz yet LMAO)

i'd have to make the final section for thz-m involve the goo a lot, since i barely used it in the level

plans for cez-m: sonic and the black knight; camelot castle

thats right, im basing it off a non-boost game, why? i dont think i have bases for castle-themed levels from the boost games (seriously, did any of them feature a castle-themed one? my memory is pretty crappy, so please tell me if there are any castle-themed levels from the boost games)

Spagonia is European styled so there are castle sections. Not exactly a boost game, but the Mach speeds are kinda similar to boost. So kingdom valley Mach speed section can more or less be an inspiration.

oh right rooftop run could count as one,

i was saving kingdom valley for dsz but yeah i should use it as base too for cez

im planning of using kingdom valley's mach speed section for dsz's final section, if plans go unchanged

just slapped it together in my phone but hey it works

so yeah, until i find a better one (which would be; never), this is now the logo of this mod:threat:

this is really good so far! i personally think its a nice and sleek title though personally since this is based off generations i would like to see a more generations version with more colorful shapes and such but for now this is very nice!

nah its really nothing, seriously, i just created the "generations" part, the rest was from ralphjeremy65, still waiting for the greenlight to use it, else im gonna just make a new one from complete scratch

update: we did get permission, so now it is official that we're using the logo from now on :wonderful:

hello it is i smoklybonkly

we have more detail

both paths has merged back into one again (HOORAY)

short drift section being made (i will cry if v6 makes this look so scuffed than it already is so hopefully motdspork will keep the automatic drifting or at least give an option to enable or disable it)

began to plan adding secrets

level is reaching 1:00 mark (roughly 50-first path, roughly 58-second path), planning to stop around 1:30 as it's greenflower after all

changed cloud textures so it blends better (turns out they didnt use anything else but scroll ceiling texture so all the translucent fofs i made was useless though i decided to keep it even if it looks trippy because its cool)

gfz is about 70-75% done (secret or fun stuffs hasnt been added yet)

this project looks cool, i think alot of people wanted modern stages and it is really cool that you work on that on a regular basis! i juste hope you know modern sonic can do railgrinding, because he can. And if you didnt, well now you know and i am sure this isnt that big of a deal!

rail grinding would unfortunately only be an arid canyon specific gimmick, since im really annoyed with how tedious it is to make minecart tracks

only reason why im working on this in a daily basis is because im bored and nothing much is happening in life right now (though, i'll stop developing for the entirety of next week, tests and all of that hope you guys wont mind much :blink:)

finished a section on thz-m, there are several more parts ahead but i cant really call them finished or even work in progress since its just hallways without design right now (level layouting)

tbh im just making this small update because im so steamhappy about modern sonic v6

i can feel it releasing soon in my veins, but im willing to wait a little longer

too much hype can kill a sonic fan - big bro's words before he left for college :blink:

remaking white world, felt that the original one is scuffed in some way

tatsuru's character swapper is added, so there would be no need for me to make two versions (no char-force and char-force) once the levelpack is finished (according to his words, it's open assets)

ykno when i said the levelpack is gonna be finished at early '24? nah, it's probably mid-late '24, since it turns out i was overestimating myself, and that this mod is 'probably' not good to be someone's first mod

at least im getting help from my big bro who has a lot of experience working with zone builder :wow: (kind of??? he is very experienced on doom builder so he just had to reorient himself working with zone builder)

looks humid, but i like it :blink:

currently, it's 1:55 in time length, though the target was 2:30 mins, so we're almost there :wonderful:
