@SpinSlash165 Hey, I get this error every time a player joins my tag server:

It always happens when a player joins and is in spectator mode. I suspect that's because the lua code isn't checking if player.mo is equal to nil or not (it will equal nil if the player is in spectator mode).

Welp, I seem to have found another problem:

How does turning super work? I've been doing the "jump a fourth time when Wheel Rushing upwards" a bunch of times, but he never turns super, unless, are you suppose to be using a completed save file? ( I mostly play customs stages with no save file because I use "Set Emeralds" when I want to go super)

I'll get a completed save with him, & see if anything different happens.

Edit:

I think I figured it out, after I got rid of Boostmentum (not the culprit) and Air Options (I think this is what was breaking the super transformation) I was able to transform (without a completed save file, using "Set Emeralds").

Jump #1 - Jump into the air
Jump #2 - Use Tail Swipe and land on the ground
Jump #3 - Use Wheel Rush (specifically the jumping variation)
Jump #4 - Press jump button to transform

Make sure you have all the emeralds and at least 50 rings, of course.
I don't think there's a need to have a complete save file - at the very least it works for me just fine without one.
 
@Boost Then this has to be conflicting with one of the lua mods I'm using (I use a lot to tweak the game, and one of them has to be preventing it from working)

Do you know what kind of lua breaks this (it could be visual, gameplay, script, etc.)? if not, I can send a list of what I'm using.
 
I don't use tweaking mods usually, so no, I don't know what could possibly conflict with Flare.
 
Not exactly sure whether to post this bug(kinda?) to Flare or Ryder's page. But I did have a somewhat consistent bug where this popped up when playing as Ryder and Flare. It mentions a teleport move script. Not sure if this relates to Flare's instant teleportation if Ryder gets too far ahead but I thought I'd mention it. (Note that I'm on 2.2.11)

That's not a bug, it's just to let mod developers know that P_TeleportMove is being removed in 2.3.

For anyone else, this does not mean anything unless there are visual errors.

We should inform SpinSlash since this might be present in the new version update seeing as it's in the prerelease for 2.12. Let's hope the issue fixes itself.

A new update is here! Sorry for the wait.

FIXED:
  • Tailspin can deal damage again!
  • Indexing popups should hopefully be gone now.
  • Grounded Wheel Burst has been nerfed by request. It's still faster than running, but hopefully now it's also easier to control!
  • Flare's radius is more accurate to his sprites. This was lowered in 2.0's development due to a (now-fixed) issue preventing him from rolling up certain slopes without bonking off them.
