Radio Silence.

It's not something I'm particularly fond of, at least on a front such as this. I'm actually feeling really great! Just finished the last of my classes for the semester, and all that's left is a single short 30 question final next week. I'm aware that posting stuff about my life here isn't ideal. Infact, it's frowned upon quite a bit by all sort of people. HOWEVER, I can relate it to what I'm currently working on, which is the completion of Holiday Heroes.

Once I get the Final Exam completed, I can put the time I put into college to finally getting Holiday Heroes to a complete state. Of course, I still got my job I need to work to pay the rent and personal health to worry about (flu season is upon us over here in "The States"). Christmas is coming soon too, and I'd love to do something special there. Other things take priority though.

I'm not entirely certain when the next build of Holiday Heroes will be ready, but I'm dubbing it "Beta 2". It's going to focus on the completion of the Campaign Stages. This last set of four levels (you've seen two posts about the first so far) will round out the "Holiday NiGHTS" Episode. I know NiGHTS Mode isn't the most popular, but I'm hoping what you'll see in "Beta 2" will help... alleviate that sour notion, heh heh.

Regardless, I hope to have more to say in the coming weeks. Until then, Happy Holidays! :3

Last night I had a dream that I was at a family gathering with my mom's side of the family.

I didn't know much Spanish, if at all to connect with them, so I spent most of the time playing videogames with my siblings and my cousins. However, an old friend of mine was in the area too.

We had a falling out after he started partaking in underground fighting rings and criminal activity. Said it was the only thing that kept his life interesting. He actually called me earlier in the day to ask for my assistance with a heist he had planned. Somehow, he found out that I was going to be in the area at that time. Must've had someone keeping tabs on me even though I cut off contact with him. I declined and blocked his number after telling him "I want nothing to do with your 'interests'."

He showed up at the place we were having the family gathering and asked me in person, where the whole family could see. It scared my entire family, and rightfully so. He looked very different, the results of that criminal activity and those underground fighting rings were obvious: he had a substantially larger build, tattoos with gang emblems, dates of fights he partook in (I didn't bother to count them all), and stitches all over.

"Why are you here?" I asked in the most intimidating voice I could manage. He just looked at me and chuckled, "Well, that ain't how you greet an old friend, now is it?" "Leave me out of your crazy shit." I shoo him away, and he grabs my arm with immense strength. I wince in pain. "I didn't say I was giving you the choice." He growled at me.

I tell my family to get to safety, and they reluctantly agree. Arm shaking from the grip, I turn and glare at him, "That's how it's gonna be, huh?" I rotate around him and try for a throw, but his mass is too much to flip, and all I can manage is making him fall over. He gets up with little to no issue, and we fight for a good while.

With the OLDC on hiatus, I suppose I should get to work. The plan for this year is simple, but quite ambitious: Finish Everything.
