Turns out I forgor 2.1Knuckles in the download. oopsie. Might as well put SSNSonic and SSNTails back in as well.
So I did yet another goof up. In my haste to update the files, I forgot to update Black Eggman's object id. In other words, I accidently made the final boss of the game unbeatable because he doesn't show up at all. Oops. But hey, at least 2.1Knuckles has SPRTINFO, so this update isn't completely meaningless.

*sigh* Maybe if the level objects from v2.1 were ported I probably wouldn't be reporting these issues. I saw a video by @DoMikoto which showcased this mod alongside the Overhauled Legacy Trio mod and Final Demo HUD mod, and since they didn't use the Final Demo Remaster mod (I doubt they know what it is), the issues I have are not present. But that's not why I made this comment. Just a suggestion, can you add an alternative version of all three characters with the vanilla spindash instead of a legacy-styled spindash? It's great for a 2.2 beta recreation as Knuckles' sprites from v2.1 were intact in the betas of v2.2 before getting touched up.Must be an object id error again, like the last few issues you've listed.
I used it for it's level object sprites, such as checkpoints, monitors, and the signpost. Ring and spring sprites are already done in the mod, so that wasn't for them, necessarily. I obviously loaded that before the v2.1 levels, with some character mods (SSNSonic, SSNTails, 2.1Knuckles, who can all be found here, and Legacy Rosy, which I used from this mod by @Rascally Rosy ) and BuddyEX by SMS Alfredo.Out of curiosity, why were you using the Final Demo Remaster mod with this one?
Eh, the ghost issue doesn't make the level harder, at least. Been a while, huh? Despite me now being busy with college work, that doesn't mean I'm not working on this. Still, nothing big this time around.

- Updated the maces to their latest version to keep it current. notify me if any bugs occur because of this.
- Attempted to improve upon 2.1Knuckles' code. The key word being "attempted". Shoutouts to Boi for offering to help out.
Another small update this time. Not in the mood to release something bigger just yet so take this for now!
- Hopefully finally addressed the music not playing for everyone in Metal Sonic's stage.
- Gave a small fix to 2.1Knux. Again, totally free to make him far better if you want to.
