I had to sit for a few minutes after playing just to process. It's 5 in the morning after a long night, so do forgive me for getting a bit silly (sentimental? poetic? out of my mind?) in the latter half.

I think Uninterrupted is the most unique SRB2 mod I've ever played, aesthetically speaking. I admire sticking to the bluish palette, both 'cause it just looks neat, and because it makes anything that's *not* blue stick out very well - the pre-rendered objects in particular stood out to me.
Act 1's shrinking gimmick was cool, the switch puzzles broke things up surprisingly well, and despite the way this pack kept turning me around, I never felt lost. The only thing I could see myself docking points for is the occasional silliness. I don't think I mind it at all now that I've actually finished the pack, but act 3's boss and act 4's chase (combined with loud ending) REALLY threw me off during my playthrough.

The vibe really is Uninterrupted's greatest strength, and it works best when uninterrupted... When you get to sit with the melancholy, sit and watch the unchanging world before you. In a universe where time changes all, this one world stands alone in stagnation. Maybe Uninterrupted will change once or twice too, in defiance of its premise... but one day, what exists is all that there will ever be. Some day, we'll finally wake up, and the dream will just be an unchanging memory - one we can look back on with our future hearts and our future minds, and maybe find something new in it.

In all honesty, I still haven't figured out what Uninterrupted is exactly "about" while I've been writing. I could probably sit here for hours talking about how it makes me feel... but I can't even be sure it's intentionally inflicting these feelings, so I'll hold off.

I hope you keep creating art, whether in SRB2 or otherwise. You've certainly left your mark on me.

I'm speechless... Thank you so much for that! I have some things I'd like to say
Your vision is really good I have to say, I didn't think anybody would think of Uninterrupted this way...
Also, I do make a lot of art outside SRB2, though I don't think I can put that here
One last thing, this review really stands out to me from the rest... Thank you again

Not a fan. Pushing a statue onto a button isn't really much of a puzzle, it just kind of wastes your time. It doesn't waste your time as much as trying to figure out what the button actually did and where to go, though. I wound up walking in circles in the first level for 15 minutes. I was on the verge of giving up, since I figured more of this wouldn't be much to miss out on. I eventually found a hole I could swear I already tried, and... yeah, my hunch was pretty much right.

Maybe puzzles just aren't my thing, but this feels less like puzzles and more like stumbling around in the dark, not even knowing what you're looking for or particularly caring.

An excellent small map pack. The platforming segments flow well, the shrinking gimmick in Act 1 is cool, and the vibes are absolutely immaculate. It feels very liminal while using none of the traditional liminal space tropes, and I would love to see more maps like this.

I will complain a tiny bit. The switch puzzles are one thing, but that's just a matter of taste, and there's a few dark bits where I got more than I'd like, but that's really hard to balance with wanting your players to be a little lost for the vibe. But if you die in the race in Act 4, the walls that close in behind you before the checkpoint come back up, and then back down if you go past them again, causing you to get softlocked. And because it's so dark, it's very easy to do go the wrong way and cause this.

Still, I'd definitely recommend checking this out, and I'm definitely looking forward to more from this modder.

Thing about the Act 4 walls, I'm not too sure how to fix that but I'll try to for v1.1. Also thank you!

This level pack really demonstrates how to make find the button/puzzle levels entertaining. The music, albeit repetitive, is beautifully crafted and a loving homage to the Mother series. I can sense the passion poured into this project at every step. The texture work, the enemies, and even the chase in act 4. All feel well-made and filled to the brim with passion. And its attempts at story-telling are done well, leaving many questions on me.

Quite frankly, I can't wait to see more of Mahier's work in the future.
