Uninterrupted v1.0

Not a fan. Pushing a statue onto a button isn't really much of a puzzle, it just kind of wastes your time. It doesn't waste your time as much as trying to figure out what the button actually did and where to go, though. I wound up walking in circles in the first level for 15 minutes. I was on the verge of giving up, since I figured more of this wouldn't be much to miss out on. I eventually found a hole I could swear I already tried, and... yeah, my hunch was pretty much right.

Maybe puzzles just aren't my thing, but this feels less like puzzles and more like stumbling around in the dark, not even knowing what you're looking for or particularly caring.

An excellent small map pack. The platforming segments flow well, the shrinking gimmick in Act 1 is cool, and the vibes are absolutely immaculate. It feels very liminal while using none of the traditional liminal space tropes, and I would love to see more maps like this.

I will complain a tiny bit. The switch puzzles are one thing, but that's just a matter of taste, and there's a few dark bits where I got more than I'd like, but that's really hard to balance with wanting your players to be a little lost for the vibe. But if you die in the race in Act 4, the walls that close in behind you before the checkpoint come back up, and then back down if you go past them again, causing you to get softlocked. And because it's so dark, it's very easy to do go the wrong way and cause this.

Still, I'd definitely recommend checking this out, and I'm definitely looking forward to more from this modder.

This level pack really demonstrates how to make find the button/puzzle levels entertaining. The music, albeit repetitive, is beautifully crafted and a loving homage to the Mother series. I can sense the passion poured into this project at every step. The texture work, the enemies, and even the chase in act 4. All feel well-made and filled to the brim with passion. And its attempts at story-telling are done well, leaving many questions on me.

Quite frankly, I can't wait to see more of Mahier's work in the future.
