Simple concept inspired by a random thread in Modding Help (Well, okay, it's not random, but hey) that I thought would be fun to implement. By default applies to just Sonic.
Running at top speed will make Sonic charge up some energy. Once it's fully charged, release and immediately re-press the direction you're going in to dash forward at a higher speed!
From there, it behaves like a typical Dash Mode - keep running to preserve it, and you can run over water.
TIP: If you're in a situation where doing this would be harmful, briefly press the opposite direction to skid and cancel the charge.
NOTICE: This therefore means that Automatic Braking will also cancel the charge. Please turn that off (for now) if you're using this add-on.
You also still have your thok, or whatever Sonic ability you load on top of this.
