A hard to understand, yet very well made character pack with a wide, 6 character roster (seen nowhere else on this site as far as SRB2 mods go) with their own impressively hard to learn, yet forgiving moveset.

I say, if anyone reads this who hasn't downloaded the mod already, Go give it a try.

I LOVE THIS MODD, it would be 5 but i feel like the special title screen is too much for me. but thats mainly not a problem

This add-on is pretty good, but there's an error that is happening when you play as Mighty and use the "hammer drop" ability on metal sonic, the game says that is missing a sprite for metal when you use this attack on him.

It's clear a lot of love and thought went into this character pack. The presentation is top shelf, the sprites are beautiful, there's tons of awesome little easter eggs (Vector's waiting animation is great).

But I can't help but be a little picky and sort of feel like this is a little over designed. I downloaded this to have The Chaotix, as they were in their game, and now some of them have completely different and weirdly complex moves. It's easy to take a step back and say that's a good thing, because lengths were taken to make sure these abilities are balanced and not overpowered, but I was looking for the simplicity and I miss having it.

Simply put, I kind of don't want to use this addon, because dealing with the timing aspect of Vector's wall bounce is exhausting (I constantly get nagged about being "late" or "early" whether I want it or not) and while it's a cool idea I don't want Espio's teleport dash. And though Charmy is more balanced now, I want unrestricted access to fly forever because that's what he was in the OG game.

It bothers me enough that I actually tried to crack open the PK3 and monkey around with the lua scripts hoping to soften some of these limitations, but I'm out of practice enough that I can't seem to get the file to repackage properly without hitting a r_loadskinsprites error.

This IS still very good, but it's not quite what I was personally looking for.

Literally one of the highest quality mods for SRB2 out there. All of the characters are fun to play and really easy to understand.

I'm probably not the best one to be giving the review since its late (At the time of writing this), but from the little bit I've played, I've really enjoyed them so far. I especially like the gameplay changes made to Espio, giving him more of a focus on horizontal momentum rather than 'Everywhere' momentum.
I don't like how Espio looks in-game however, at least compared to his older iteration. His limbs especially just don't look right, mainly when he's walking and running.

Nonetheless, I do like how each character plays. Not only does it fit perfectly with how they played in Knuckles Chaotix (I wouldn't know, I only played Classic Espio, Vector and Charmy from Sonic Classic Heroes) with new twists to make them more unique and fit in the new 3D environment, Heavy and Bomb especially.
Speaking of, Heavy and Bomb are quite uninteresting to look at, but the mod creators *did* try their best giving them cool poses, mainly with Bomb.
Vector's Beat Bounce takes a while to get used too, and Mighty's Wall Kick too but that's mainly because its used by holding space (Mind you, pressing space mid-jump causes the Ground Pound) instead of Spin like I assumed it would be. Definitely a "me" issue though.

Personally, my main issue is the custom title screen. It's cute and extremely well-made, but I'm one of those weirdos who activates a bunch of mod characters to have a huge roster and the Chaotix-specific title just doesn't sit well with me??? Maybe there could be an alternative version without the title screen.

I know I'm being really negative, but in all honesty, the pros vastly outweigh the cons in this modpack. Most of the issues here are either personal issues, easy fixes, or just me being hasty to write a review and not fully getting used to some abilities. (Heavy in particular is gonna take a lot of getting used too, I can tell.)

cool, can i use it on a mod?

Damm wild, could have a easter egg for Heavy and Bomb to them do a pose turning into old Archie Comics visuals.

Heavy is completely invincible

Mighty's current walljump is good actually. Adds a neat skill floor to it like Super Metroid's wall jump. Just making sure to push into the wall before pressing jump isn't too hard, especially considering Espio's easymode wall jump. Heavy being Wario Land in 3D is amazing and what you've done with Bomb reminds me of Cool Spot which all together pretty much turns SRB2 into the ultimate platformer.

This mod is REALLY good, But I have a problem with heavy in battle mod. I kind of wish they were a little more invincible? and maybe debuff bomb a little bit. But other than those thhings, this mod is a good.

Absolutely Amazing. Each Character plays extremely well and unique. Truly a thank you letter to the 32X Game.

ive only tried out mighty and vector but oh my GOD these characters bang, vector might my my favorite character ive played in like any platformer ever. BUT. he cant go under the lil roll gaps, and that makes a bunch of levels completely impossible as him

Absolutely great mod all-around. My only issue is that Mighty's wall cling and hammer drop being mapped to the same input causes a rather unfun issue in which you may drop instead of clinging to a wall at times.
Perhaps place the hammer drop and drop dash to the spin input?

Charmy's small size gave me a silly moment when I accidentally flew outside of THZ3's arena.

that was an outstanding mod
