I'll be frank, considering this is clearly based off MY5TCrimsonX (atleast considering the moveset), I think the moveset has some room to be spared; if you don't really know the exact reference then it just seemingly looks like Inazuma's Shadow and SRB2 Metal combined into one.
I don't exactly have anything to say that would not exactly be a regurgitation of pre-existing reviews here, so I'd rather take a moment to appreciate the references instead.
The title screen change is nice, I suppose. Mod version being 666 included. Not sure why ".EXE" is included, though, as even the original MY5TCrimsonX game didn't have it (nor the original pasta but regardless).
The FFIV Kefka laugh has no comment. The stance being the exact same as when Tails walks up to him is also a nice touch. Same going for the budget Dashmode which clearly references H&S ZONE, I believe.
...Sadly that's kinda where the whole thing ends. CrimsonX hasn't had much (if anything) in ages to really do much with, so the mod is somewhat fundementally handicapped because of that.
Sally.EXE being atleast 80% plagarized from Chinelin explains why it's not referenced of course (I'll be frank I don't remember enough of that game to point out any references if I did recognize them).
I think a reference to maybe the Knux "fight" in YCR or something in Ellipsis (even though that has the least possibility here by far).
I think it's generally a 4/5; as much as I appreciate it, I think that in all honesty, choosing the grandpa of SONIC.EXE fangames somewhat holds it down due to the lack of variety.
And, finally, something genuinely related to the character: The vertical momentum from the warpthok does feel a little overtuned, considering you CAN seemingly avoid the momentum halt of warpthokking forwards at times. I can't do it consistently, but it seems to be there.
I had completely forgotten about Shadow when making this so the warpthok just being pretty much the exact same as his teleport was just an unlucky coincidence.
The ".EXE" part was just a complete mandela effect, as i remembered it being there when drawing the titlescreen, and it just ended up staying.
The "Dashmode" (although, i wouldn't really call it that since it just happens while running normally) is a reference to Hide & Seek, yes.
I never really considered Sally.EXE as being part of the original CrimsonX since it's just plagarized from Chinelin so that is indeed the reason it isn't referenced.
All he's really doing in YCR is just teleporting so there wasn't much i could add about it.
Since he's supposed to play as an "Evil Sonic" i wanted to make him more vertical but still have a way to go fast, since he's Sonic after all, but i can see why it feels a little overtuned.
