Although I personally can't give too much information on how accurate this Silver is, I had a lot of fun either way!

POSITIVES
+ Very interesting gameplay where you have to strategically decide when to use your telekinesis.
+ Boss fights change completely as Silver, for the better!
+ Super Silver!

NEGATIVES
- Users who aren't as good at video games should avoid Silver. He tends to be more frustrating due to his unique method of attacking.

On an unrelated note, it doesn't look like Silver says "It's no use!" when grabbing Metal Sonic. Disappointing...

so theres a bug of where i use the telekenisis dash and hold S and the camera pan goes crazy, i dont think this happend before the game updated, maybe you dont know what im saying but you should go see if the bug works for you, if not then its strange

It's a good mod, but a lot to fix, silver is totally limited to telekinesis, it doesn't have spindash or a spinning jump to deal damage to the opponent, instead you have to rely on goodwill From his psychokinesis bar, in addition to the cooldown that is very annoying, because silver sometimes will not destroy the badnik, so the Badnik has a chance to attack him until his bar fills up, at least give him some Physical blow for him not to be totally dependent like that

If Silver had ways to deal contact damage without using his Telekinesis, then his Telekinesis ability would simply become pointless. I would know, as an earlier version in 2.1.x had a way to let Silver spinjump without energy, and it led to it being the only move used against enemies and bosses, completely undermining the rest of his kit. Hence why the ability was removed to begin with; Silver's entire game plan revolves around proper management of his Telekinesis be it for movement or combat.

I already think there are few instances where Silver even wants to interact with enemies, but this is a problem with SRB2's design itself where enemies can just be completely ignored as there is little benefit to wasting your time with them, and I'm not sure if I can ever address this properly for Silver.

Really cool, but it would be great if silver could use his Psychic Knife to have another mean of fighting enemies (he does in fact use it as a Buddy bot).

PLEASE FIX: when playing splitscreen using the gamepad (in my case PS4 controller), if the player2 uses PhyscoBoost and turns horizontally the sensitivity goes crazy. Aside from that, 10/10 just please fix the sensitivity error!

Hi. This is a nice mod but. When i press spin the telekenesis or whatever its called isn't working. Im a mobile player btw if that changes anything

I love this mod. I've downloaded this character ever since 2.1, and everytime it feels like hes part of the vanilla experience, like fang or amy. He plays different from Sonic, Tails or Knuckles, for one thing, jumping doesn't damage enemies (infact, if you jump on one you're the one who will get damaged), and so you'll need to use his telekinesis. Using item boxes on enemies is great, it's so fun destroying a badnik and getting rewarded with an invulnerability or extra life, lol. Such a versatile playstile, great character. A minor gripe is that in levels like Deep Sea 2 he could glitch some destroyable walls or get stuck in amy's route with no way of leaving.

I absolutely LOVE this character, can't believe this mod doesn't have more ratings!

Firstly I love characters like Amy and Fang who don't curl on jump, forcing a new approach to combat. The TK catch and throw is very fun and makes you think about what you have around you to toss. I love the little cooldown period between picking things up and chucking them, preventing you from just spamming the button.

The float is unique in that it doesn't lose height like knuckles or metal, but also doesn't gain height like tails as well as being tied to the same meter you fight and boost with. I love being able to tap float a couple times during a jump too.

The dash is very good! I worry often about any abilities that give height, as I feel the levels are balanced around having to find your way uphill unless you're tails who has it for free or knuckles who has to climb slowly. Amy has a nice high jump and can hammer springs for height, fang has his bounce but needs to bounce from high to bounce high generally, and metal/sonic can't generate height through their movesets so they need to use momentum and ramps and such.

You would think Silver being able to generate height on a whim would be broken, but it's balanced by 3 things:
A - the boost uses meter quick and the refill rate isn't that fast, and also
B - the boost always moves forward, so you cant go straight up unless you have like the tornado shield
C - you can bonk walls during the boost so you can't just hug the wall on the way up, you gotta know the angle.

Oh on that note, the shield interactions with the dash are brilliant! Love the creativity on display with those, and they make me excited to have a shield.

I LOVE the meter as a resource, I think its recharge rate is perfect and each move drains the appropriate amount of meter. It really balances his incredible float and dash.

and lastly, the visuals are excellent.

Literally 10/10 mod, absolutely must have in my opinion!

Super fun and unique character. The auto targeting for when you are throwing an enemy with telekinesis is finicky and it does not work sometimes. Also there is a delay when you pick up an enemy and when you can throw them. The delay is so big that sometimes when I picked up metal sonic during his fight, he would escape the telekinesis before I had the chance to throw him.

Silver is probably one of the first addons I used for SRB2 2.2 and having spent enough time with him I feel like I'm actually ready to try reviewing him.
So I wasn't expecting for silver to be such a accurate recreation of his 06 version with his pick up mechanics and the inability to curl up when jumping, really makes him standout in the cast, I love that his moveset has been better implemented here like his puny dash in 06 is now boost that can be angled up and down, and hitting ground can but you a curled state so with proper use you can still go into tight gaps.
Only "criticism"(nitpick) I can give is that single player silv_auracolor can't be changed, only in multiplayer can you see changes to it.
Overall Silver is just great and I still love playing him to this day.

Silver is probably my 2nd favorite character to play as (right behind Shadow)! He is so much fun and his sprites look gorgeous! I love flying around with telekinesis! I only have one tiny gripe. Picking things up with telekinesis can be a bit awkward at times and sometimes it doesn't really work the first time (most of the time it is fine though). I really love this character and it definitely does Silver justice!
