Sash Lilac [v1.1c] (Freedom Planet) v1.1c

Really fun, I loved freedom planet so being able to play as lilac in srb2 is nice. I do wish she could swim like she does in freedom planet but the extra air time mostly makes up for it. its been a while since this released so i doubt there will be any other fp character mods but if you ever do make them i'll definitely download

It's wicked getting to play my favorite indie character in SRB2! A couple aspects of her movement were translated faithfully, I'm particularly fond of the Dragon Boost and her running mechanics.

Considering SRB2's general flow, I think having grounded Cyclone that could rise/fall with jump or spin held would feel a lot better for taking out enemies than the single melee hit. That, and its utility as a mobility option she had in FP1 would work wonders for Lilac in some of the more tight platforming SRB2 has to offer.

It also feels a little weird that she can't swim - it would completely break water stages like DSZ, but I think her having to still contend with enemies would keep play with her interesting.

Her sprites can't be helped - being ripped from the game they were still used well. The FP1 HUD is a nice touch. Overall, a fun translation of the character that's a blast to race with. She'd be almost perfect with a little more moveset polish!
