As a Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch player, this mod has a lot of potential. And if you're willing to put the extra effort, that is, giving him the MM8BDM physics (no double jump), his charged shot, the ability to shoot continuously by holding shoot, an actual slide and fixing his colors.. Then yeah, go for it. Otherwise, I would really like to see this character made correctly as a mod for SRB2. They're both DOOM based fangames, it can't be that hard.

I mean... Yeah, it's Mega Man in SRB2, alright, put in the game in the most low effort ever, that is. He has a double jump (cause every character mod gotta have that, for some reason, even tho I don't ever remembering MM having a double jump) and his basic peashooter. No modified physics, no defeating bosses to get their power(which is like, yknow, the main gimmick of MM), no modified gameplay elements, no custom sprites to fit into SRB2's style, nothing. What you see is what you get, literally MM in SRB2. Later updates do add different peashooter types and his slide, but this just ain't the same.

it's okay i suppose? he can shoot and "slide" like the games and even has special weapons (which are OP), he certainly needs a bit of work though, it is like a situation of "it doesn't stink or smell", certainly adding his charged buster could be a cool addition since i have a bit of trouble trying to hit smaller targets with his normal shots, although his specials are good enough to fill that hole (maybe a meter which fills up with enough rings can balance they uses)

I gave this mod a try and it's... certainly better than most give it credit for. The four weapons Mega Man has (yes that's what I call him) are certainly interesting to play with and use (even though their uses are situational at best), and the double jump, while it is a strange addition to the move set, is definitely a good way to gain vertical distance when trying to correct a jump. The only REAL complaint I have is that the slide is just a less powerful spindash, but everything else is fine. Some sprites for the mod could use some work though.

Mega man is pretty dull in srb2 if he had a good amount of movesets like the original games he can be fun

it's an eh, you did do pretty good with the mod, but i have a few problems that if you can fix, that would be wonderful: so, when megaman jumps, he doesn't show his jump-fire sprite
and, when megaman runs and shoots, he just doesnt run while shooting. other then that very good!
