Kombi couldn't resist coming here after hearing about some good treasure in Greenflower Mountain, but after hearing Robotnik being involved, he joins Sonic and crew to stop him.​

I spent like two minutes writing that up because making sort of unnecessary explanations is the new norm you better enjoy it(/j)

Aanyways this was my absolute first mod for this game because I rather don't enjoy comfort!!

Kombi starts with (by default) 4 hearts and 8 hearts max, getting hit decreases one and makes your paycheck tank. Simple enough.

Defeating enemies, however, fills up the meter below the hearts and spawn coins, depending on the enemy. Eight enemies defeated total net you a heart and empties the meter, if you aren't already at eight hearts.

Also, close to every level from GFZ1 to ACZ1 now ends with a Frog Switch, triggering an escape sequence and opening the portal at the start.

Should you let time run out, all of the score gained from the level get taken away from you until it hits 0.

Hold down SPIN to charge!

Press Custom 2 to plow through enemies! You can probably break some other stuff with it as well...

Press CUSTOM 3 to switch between vertical and horizontal movesets! (more like vertical moveset and a thok...)

k_jinglereplacements: Switch what jingles the Speed Shoes and Invincibility plays. Didn't some other mod do this-- Takes SA1, SA2, On, and Off. (Default SA1!)
  • Sprites leave a bit more to be desired. Okay whoever actually wants to say that i'll have you know i had to put up with using SCRATCH to make these. wait why am i putting this here-
  • SA1 trackset has missing tracks. I'm working on it okay--

Very cool character, although a few sprites seem to be missing like the walk sprite, and the coin things pickup range makes it practically impossible to pick them up after bopping a badnik with the homing attack

this clearly has a lot of effort put into it, although a few flaws are holding it back
