Jupirnier's Hangout Maps

Jupirnier's Hangout Maps v1.4, DLC v1.1

After a bit more than a year in development, I have finally finished this. Nearly everything has been updated in the map pack, so I’ll go through the major changes:
  • Welistation, Green Valley, Snow Town, Lower Deck and Bygone Lands have received visual touch-ups;
  • Grassy Islands, Underwater Museum and the title map have been remade from scratch.
WELISTATION:
  • Welistation has new rooms (e.g. new warehouse area), had some rooms changed (e.g. the room before the sauna area) or straight up removed (e.g. some rooms with couches and TVs);
  • There is a proper entrance to Lower Deck now;
  • At least two interconnecting paths have been added.
LOWER DECK:
  • The level has proper sound sources now;
  • Added new rooms and a whole new area;
  • The ending area has been redone.
GREEN VALLEY:
  • The entrance to Welistation has been slightly remade;
  • A proper entrance to Snow Town has been added;
  • Day-night cycle has been removed for good.
SNOW TOWN:
  • Entrance to Welistation requires more effort to reach it now, making one of the houses in the town accessible;
  • At least two new areas have been added;
  • The sewers area has been remade from scratch;
  • The tunes-changing room has a new purpose… door… somewhere…
UNDERWATER MUSEUM:
The unreleased maps trivia has been replaced with information about old versions of main maps (the former was moved to Old Maps Collection).

BYGONE LANDS:
The ending area has been remade. Finishing the level in Singleplayer no longer returns you to the title screen.

OLD MAPS COLLECTION:
Has been remade from scratch. Previously existing maps have been combined into separate maps, added a new obscure map and unreleased/prototype maps.
I think I should stop calling sub-levels secret maps at this point. Anyway, the changes:

- Fixed a misplaced vertical row of rings in Welistation;
- Underwater Museum is no longer a singleplayer-only map. You can freely play it in multiplayer now;
- Underwater Museum also has a new skybox;
- The museum in Snow Town has updated graphics.

But wait, is that all? Nope, it isn't! There's also something special that came with this update...

Old Maps Collection!
As the name suggests, it's a collection of my old maps. More details on the overview page.
  • Cool!
Reactions: klasky
Nothing much is changed, besides the fact that scaled objects now have scaled hitboxes (due to v2.2.12 breaking scale in udmf) in a secret UDMF map.

And also title screen music now functions properly in sound test, and the mod version in-game is more accurate now.
Fixed two things somewhere that I did not playtest properly.
Finally something that didn't feel like infinite development hell. Anyway, here are the changes:

- Level Select icons have been updated;
- A very minor decoration added in Snow Town;
- Removed sponge and starfish in Green Valley;
- Snow Town's sub level now has a new... room?
Finally after this development hell (which lasted a little more than 5 months) I finished this. Mostly only Welistation received some changes:

- Welistation now has its own sub level (feat. UDMF).
- It also has a new room located in the same place where "There's nothing here" sign was.
I don't remember all changes, though, so you'll have to find them out yourself (which I suppose no one's gonna do).
My dumb ass added a no netgame flag to hotel's teleporters for whatever reason, oops
