This add-on is made with v2.2.15 in mind. Older versions of SRB2 are no longer supported and you may encounter errors if you attempt to run this add-on in older SRB2 builds. Please make sure your game is up to date.
After witnessing Dr. Eggman's swift vandalization of Greenflower Mountain right next to her and Mom's house during a rather mundane day and witnessing the arrival of the famous Sonic the Hedgehog & co. on the island, Gemma hops in to follow the Blue Blur (and co.)'s trail with her buddy Blake by her side.
Meet the characters
Gemma (pronounced "JEM-ah") is a 14-15 year old ½ Tarsier-½ Cat hybrid and an aspiring adventurer born with geokinesis, a kind of power the lets the user control and manipulate earth at their own will.
Tera-riser:
Double jump to drop downwards with enough force to break the floor beneath your feet and ride it upwards. You can jump or spindash off this newly created platform at anytime.
Tip: Hitting an enemy or hazard with the rock platform will allow you to perform the move again. Chain multiple together to gain maximum height!
Gemma is also Co-op friendly. You can use this ability to take your friends to a lift.
Otherwise, she pretty much plays like your traditional Sonic character. She can perform the classic Spin Jump & as mentioned before, the Spin Dash. Y'know, the usual stuff.
You can configure how Gemma's ability controls using the "gemmastyle" command. I/O support is included.
Hold (gemmastyle 1): Let go of jump while riding the platform to hop off of it.
Triple Jump (gemmastyle 2): Press jump while riding the platform to hop off it.
Gemma also sports her own weapon loadout in RingSlinger NEO.

In order to play as Gemma in BattleMod, you must load the new "L_GemmaBattle" file after loading Gemma herself.
In BattleMod, her Tera-riser ability has an exhaust meter, which drains if used excessively. Her ground pound debris and Rock Platform also tumbles players unless they have no defense. Additionally, spin dashing while on the rock platform increases your gravity, making you fall faster.
Rock Wave:
Jump and hold Fire to charge a powerful cone-shaped wave of rock pillars that either tumbles or instantly damages players depending on how long you charge the ability before releasing the Fire button. Pressing FireNormal while charging simply cancels the ability, while Pressing Spin while charging lets you perform a quick short dash.
Earth Wall:
Hold Fire while grounded to determine the spot you want to create a wall made of rocks, then release the button to create it. It has 6 health points before it gets destroyed. You can also destroy the wall yourself by pressing Fire while grounded again.
Joining Gemma in her quest to chase Sonic's trail is her best friend Blake, who's 15cm shorter and almost half a year older than her. This little V-shaped-horned dwarf buffalo is a whimsy but also awkward kind of boy who ironically happens to possess the power to control shadows, which allows him to summon various shadowy animal forms, or use his shadow powers to destroy foes directly. He may not be able to Spin Jump and Spin Dash like his primate-feline hybrid friend can, but his dark power more than makes up for it.
Phantom Dragon & Phantom Eagle:
Double jumping summons a dark shadowy dragon that you can ride upwards, while pressing spin after jumping summons a dark shadowy eagle that you can ride forwards. You can do one after the other, and both Phantom creatures can destroy enemies and walls, even walls that only the roughest of echidnas can break through.
Co-op feature: Up to two other players entangled with Blake can ride the Phantom Dragon when he summons it. After the dragon dissipates, you can still perform your ability(ies) out of the dragon.
Phantom Slash & Phantom Dash:
Press spin while grounded to perform a shadowy slash that you can lunge into your foes, or break walls & floors. This works two times, but once you press spin for the third time, you instead perform the Phantom Dash, where you not only dash forward into enemies and walls, but even break spikes, too!
Tip: If you wish to slash without moving forward too fast, don't touch the directional input (be it WASD, D-Pad, or Analog) while pressing spin on ground.

Blake does not have support for BattleMod at the moment.
Like Sonic & Tails, there is a Gemma & Blake option, where you can play both characters together as a team! Standing on the same position as the Blake bot will make a "Flight Call" arrow indicator show up. Jumping with this indicator present will make him summon a Phantom Dragon that you can ride with him upward in the air. You can still perform the Tera-riser after the dragon dissipates, to reach maximum height.
Little tip if you have all the Chaos Emeralds: If you want to perform Flight Call while Gemma is in Super form, try not to jump too high by simply tapping the jump button or just not holding the jump button for too long.
Bonus skincolor: Bumiflor. Based on Gemma's colors in non-SRB2 styled artwork.
