Another amazing character! The charged jump is really fun, and clinging to ceilings is that awesome feeling that everyone wants with Espio.

My only complaint is while I love the wall running, I kind of wish it transferred your momentum you had going into the wall. Feels a tad bit strange to do it at a stand still but still go up really high and at sprinting speed.

But that's extremely nitpicky and doesn't hurt my enjoyment of the character. Regardless, Espio is now one of my new favorites to play the game with that I'll be coming back to!

I was considering having Espio do a momentum based wall climb. The thing is I don’t really think that it would work in this specific version of the game. Even with a momentum mod I really don’t feel the need to charge a spindash just to get full height on the wall. Despite this, and seeing how 2.3’s level design is going to be, this idea might be revisited some time.

Overall the abilities for Espio is fine and is kinda like the legacy version all over again I do like the new ability where you can run up walls and plus the art style for the mod is actually beautiful

I really liked the new Espio, but I think he's pretty pink, I would add a bit of blue to it, or any other color that makes it more accurate. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations and seems perfect. Well done.

What a trial of events that made this happen somehow, very cool! Look's much cleaner to what I previously done before all this but I guess it wasn't so much of a loss cause rather then an improvement. So it was a push in the right direction, which is a stepping stone in itself. But you guys did a great job otherwise!

Welcome to the next level. Cheeky first words aside, this is yet another great character mod, that feels official. I could easily trick someone who just found out about SRB2 into thinking that this was a 2.3 leaked character. His abilities combo with each other quite well, rewarding the player for skillful gameplay.

PROS:
- Amazing-looking sprites.
- Fun abilities.
- Battlemod abilities are also great too and can be used in scenarios that happen often.

CONS:
- I have really minor nitpicks that shouldn't really effect the rating. (battle mod abilities have a high skill celling which turns off new players and etc.)

CONCLUSION:

Absolutely astounding adaptation of Espio to SRB2, the charge jump and ceiling cling work nicely together and the new wall detection makes the wall running a breeze. Props to the entire team for their wonderful work.

Outstanding sprite work all around, a really fun, unique and versatile moveset with a ton of synergy and flow. As well as just a massive amount of both polish and stylistic flare. You all did an amazing job, and deserve a nice long rest!

a really fun character! running on the walls, the ceiling, and the air is really fun! espio is quite the flexible character. i would love to reccomend this guy!

I genuinely don't know where to start to be honest. He's amazing in every aspect. Really fun in Coop, Super cool in Battle Mod and a Solid Party member in SRB2P I have no complaints about him whatsoever but that might be due to bias seeing as he's one of my Top 3 favorite Sonic characters. Thank you to everyone who helped make espio what he is currently in-game he's a fuckin blast.

Man I love Knuckles here! He can climb walls so fast its insane + it allows for easy height gains.

Sprites are well designed and the move-set is simple yet powerful. We've waited so long for this to drop and its certainly been worth it.

Great job to everyone involved.

this mod is amazing. espio has become one of my favorite characters to play as thanks to his amazing moveset. this character can get very high if his abilities are combined right, which is very rewarding to skilled players. this character overall deserves a 10/10.

This is my go-to character mod to play, for a number of reasons.

Sprites - They are BEAUTIFUL. I adore the choices made on the default color and general look, it is very faithful to Espio as a character and SRB2 as a game. The top spin smears are awesome, and I love the attention to detail on how when he has to roll he doesn't do it in a complete ball similar to Amy and Fang. The hang sprite is really cool since he uses one hand, and the edge sprite is very cool too.

Gameplay - Espio feels right at home in this game. His abilities allow for creative movement options for any map, allowing the player to really experiment with his capabilities. Forcing him to go to Amy & Fang routes when they're split with a roll gap is an excellent choice, makes sense for the character and gives more appreciation to these routes. I was iffy about him not having full control on walls at first; but not only does that sound like heck to program, he really doesn't need it. He can quickly scale walls, and run onto a ceiling from there. This in particular opens a HUGE amount of possibilities for movement in Battlemod. I sort of wish he could spindash on walls, but only downwards; providing an way to charge speed in a cramped space along with a offense/defense for wall climbing it battle. However, what he has already works fluidly.

This part in particular deserves its own paragraph; his main charge jump ability is very well made and fits him perfectly. It's a double jump that provides the same amount of polish and flair that the vanilla cast hs naturally. It's satisfying, suits the spinning top shape, fun to use, and is just great.

This mods does a marvelous job reflecting the coolness of classic era Espio, one that isn't seen often due to his underutilization. He's a member of the classic-era sonic cast, and this mod treats him as such. 10/10 Will stick with me to the end.

This is definitely one of the better character mods out there! He's a blast to play as. Even my little brother, who isn't all that great at video games, could easily play as Espio.

POSITIVES
+ Fun to play as character who can blast through stages if you know what you're doing.
+ Easy to use for beginners.

NOTCIES
/ Cannot use Chaos Emeralds, meaning no Super Espio
/ Has to take Amy/Fang paths.

(Espio is also my little brother's favorite character. Thank you!)
