- All map IDs have been changed to not replace the vanilla maps. You may see the new map IDs by looking at the "Important for Hosters" spoiler tab. Unfortunately, this will reset all of your Record Attack high scores, however you will still keep the Emblems you've acquired.
- The Black Rock has been removed from the end screen properly. Before, I replaced the Black Rock's graphics with empty ones, but now the level pack uses a dedicated setting for it that I didn't know about before
- All Golden Shields now rest on top of a podium, inspired by the Kirby franchise's Copy Essences
- Speaking of Golden Shields, all Act 2's have had their Golden Shields modified. Each Act 2 now has exactly 2 Golden Shields to choose from, and hopefully the shields that are offered in each Act 2 now have their own purpose in their respective fights
- Fixed a bunch of texture alignment issues in Generic Grass and Shadow Fortress
- Death Egg has been renamed to Cobalt Core, in an attempt to make it slightly more original (woopsies!!)
- Fixed Flooded City 2's left wall scrolling the wrong way
- Techno Tundra Act 2's boss arena has received a massive overhaul. It now looks much fancier and has a few hazards to differentiate itself from Generic Grass Act 2's boss fight
- Made a couple of big changes to the final boss. You'll know 'em when you see 'em :threat:
- All maps have been converted to UDMF. This will hopefully prevent problems with future SRB2 updates, and will also make levels easier to edit :knuxsmug:
- The SOC files have been organized. If you ever wanted to take a look into the files for easy reference on stuff like level headers, Emblems, or unlockables, then hopefully it'll be MUCH less of a headache than it was before. This unfortunately comes with the unintended side effect of shuffling around emblem numbers, so you will now most likely have certain emblems you didn't have before, and are missing emblems that you did collect before. Not much I can do about this to my knowledge, sorry for the inconvenience!
- There's a bunch of other small details and changes that you may notice while playing. I hope you like playing Spot the Difference! :wonderful:
- Many unclimbable walls have been made climbable again, so now Knuckles players can finally use their main ability. Yippee!
- Fixed an atrociously designed waterfall in Rocky Coast 1 that broke in the 2.2.11 update.
- Marathon Mode has been fixed! It now works just as intended.
- Changed the Knuckles path in Dusk Desert 1 so every character can take it
- Fixed a problem where characters like Sonic could get to a 1-up area in Shadow Fortress, but couldn't get out without losing a life.
- Made Techno Tundra look a bit better.
- Fixed the triggers for the emerald podiums being too small, resulting in people missing them when grabbing the emerald.
- Made Generic Grass 1's waterfalls look nicer
- Added a few more secrets :threat:
After releasing V1.5.4.7.6.1.2.9.5, I've been getting a lot of feedback. People have told me that this is "bad" and that "there are literally only two levels, what the hell is wrong with you?" So, due to popular demand, I've reverted all of these changes. Just don't come crying to me again when you realize how inferior this version is.

Jokes aside, April Fools is over, which means Emerald Quest does actually have more than two levels again. Yippee!
That's not all though. The hub has gotten a decently-sized visual overhaul.

And also-- oh wait, that's uh, that's everything.
This is it. The update I've been working many years for. I've spent many long, sleepless nights crafting this update, and finally... after all this time.

Emerald Quest is perfect.

Patch notes:
- Made Generic Grass perfect.
- Made Flaming Forest perfect.
- Made Rocky Coast perfect.
- Made Techno Tundra perfect.
