Emerald Coast in SRB2!

Emerald Coast in SRB2! 1.3

this is perfect, very fun to run around, and good to speedrun as well (i'm having trouble finding the emerald altar though), but still, amazing mod, 10 out of 10

Honestly GOATed map pack, although I have no idea how the wall run works. I doubt you should be needing speed shoes for that

Congratulations! It's really amazing! Do you intend to make more of Sonic Adventure's stages?

the idea of a full remake of SA1 in SRB2 or at least a few more stages from that game sounds really cool but idk if im capable of doing that at least right now. the next level i wanna do is a remake of City Escape from SA2. might be awhile before i begin though but im glad y'all like this level!

It's emerald coast. A pretty great one at that! Only problem I have is that those speed panel are floating for some reason, which looked pretty odd, aside from that, this is a chef's kiss.

Jump on panel number 1, It'll take you to panels two and three

Really good recreation! Nicely done

Overall, one of the greatest SA levels I've ever played. No nitpicks or anything! Can't wait to see what's next!(I hope you add some other levels too. Hehe.)

Really good recreation! may want to check why the speed booster that's placed right before the slope in the collapsing platforms section (whale chase in original game) doesn't force you into spinning state. I fell into the water multiple times there because of it.

just checked and it should be working, the boosters are force spin, and the ramp is force spin, it should force you to spin no matter what. maybe you're coming at it wrong? or maybe i just need to get rid of the speed boosters and learn how to make a speed panel so that the FOF itself will boost you.

Aw yeah, this is happening!

This is indeed Emerald Coast from Sonic Adventure (1998) in Sonic Robo Blast 2 (Also 1998). The attention to detail in porting the level, and the creative liberties to make it work in SRB2 show that a lot of love and care was put into this.
There are a few issues I found:
There are a lot of broken and uneven slopes, which could be fixed up with a quick polishing pass.
The wall running script works very poorly with the flow of the level. It's a bit too jank and I just ended up jumping off the floor slopes instead in places where I could.
LWATER is a horrible texture and seeing it loop into the horizon is particularly agonizing. I would recommend, for a similar color but a better texture, using DSSBFLR4, and putting it into the skybox instead of a horizon effect within the level itself. This will ensure that the texture loops less often, which will alleviate a lot of crust.

Great job, and Welcome to Releases!
