Requirement 1: Type of resource.
  • Texture
  • Flat
  • Object
  • Lua Script (This could include lua linedefs or other helpful scripts for mapmakers)
Requirement 2: Is your contribution quality?
  • While quality standards are not exceptionally high, check within Community Resources, and ask yourself if your contribution is on par with those already in the addon.
  • If you are unsure of quality, but feel you have put significant time or effort into your contribution, ask for feedback! The Kart Krew discord has a significant amount of people willing to provide you with constructive criticism.
Requirement 3: Does your contribution look good in-game?
  • Adheres to the SRB2 Palette
  • Is sufficiently big enough to be readable, if there is text
  • Is not overly busy or dithered
If you feel that your contribution meets all of these requirements, feel free to shoot me a DM on Discord @ Eldog#0001, or ping me in the Kart Krew server. I will review your submission and likely add it to the pack!
Dynamic Random Items (/Eldog/SOC_ITEM, /Eldog/LUA_ITEM):

Dynamic Random Item Spawner:
  • Angle: Time between spawns, in Tics.

Dynamic Random Item:
  • Ambush: Object becomes static.

Change Brightness by % (/Eldog/LUA_BRTN):
  1. Call BRIGHTNESSPERCENTAGE using Linedef 443
  2. Set up the linedef using the following properties:
    • X Offset: Brightness Percentage
    • Y Offset:Brightness "Threshold"
      • Any brightness level above this number will be unaffected by the function. This is particularly useful for keeping light sources bright even as the rest of the level becomes darker.
    • Upper Unpegged:Use Tag
      • By default, this function affects the entire map. This flag means it will only affect sectors with the same tag as your linedef.

RallyHUD (/Eldog/LUA_RHUD):
  1. Call RALLYSIGNAL using Linedef 443
  2. Set up the linedef using the following properties:
    • Backside X Offset:Duration
      • This number determines how long your patch will be displayed on a player's screen, in tics.
    • Backside Upper Texture: Patch to draw
    • Backside Middle Texture: MUST BE _
    • Backside Lower Texture: Patch to draw (Optional)

Might be weird to rate something i've contributed to but hey-ho.
Anyone who's mapping, or thinking of doing so should check this out.
So many different textures/flats, you're bound to find something useful, and these days it even has LUA/objects/sprites/etc
Props to Eldog for organising this
