13 months of this game's existence so far, love to see it. To celebrate, Roboegg, from Sonic the Fighters, joins the racetrack!

A few edits have been made to the others in this pack, and are as follows:
Captain Rescue's gloat has been very slightly altered.

Fixed an issue where Ash's death sprite would horizontally flip every fourth frame.

Adjusted the minimap sprite and alternate signpost for Scream Tail 8-Bit.
Added an echo effect to Scream Tail's gloat.

That'll do it for now. Here's to another year of ring racing!
Happy Holidays, everybody. Since I bought Aseprite on sale, I wanted a quick(er) project to get used to the program with; the result of that is my 3rd character mod in Scream Tail, styled in 8-bit!

The other characters received updates, which are as follows:
  • Fixed an issue where Ash's Wanted sprite was missing the white background. Also updated the sprite itself a little.
  • Updated a few of Captain Rescue's sfx: the background noise from his Gloat and Win quotes is removed, and he has a new Boost quote!
  • Placed a single pixel on the captain's Minimap sprite for his bandage on his left cheek. It was missing until now, oops!
That'll do it for now. Enjoy!
With Ash's arrival, I've entered the racers into a character pack. You can still DL who you want individually if that's desired instead. Refer to the Overview page for her stats!

I've enjoyed making character mods for this game. I wanna do it again, but I haven't decided on who's next, or when I'll start again. For now, please enjoy the racers I've made so far!
Sonic is now Captain Rescue's only base game rival; the others are Scratch and Grounder, from the AoStH cartoon! Get them from Emiliano's Jerk Collection.

Sonic remains as the captain's rival in heroism. Captain Rescue confronts the two robots in his episode; Grounder especially finds enjoyment in exchanging gadget attacks with the captain during their duel.

Beyond this, some of Captain Rescue's sprites have been updated a little (most notably: his look back sprites now look in the correct direction, and the shadow cast by the back of his head is less pointy).
