Aiyah! A new update appears for the Rally All-Stars Character Pack continuing the 5th anniversary celebration of SRB2 Kart. This time providing a much needed return to Team Ranma of Ranma 1/2! The characters have received a significant artwork upgrade over all previous versions of these characters complete with minor tweaks and fixes to their audio, signpost artwork and more! In addition comes two fan favorite character additions; Ryoga Hibiki and Ukyo Kuonji.
Just like Ranma and Shampoo before, if Ryoga comes into contact with cold water he will transform into a small black pig. Careful though, he's still as ferocious as ever! Will he be able to stay on the track despite his poor sense of direction?? Can he keep his dark secret away from Akane, the girl he loves the most?
Team Ranma now outnumbers all the other teams available in this pack, with each character counted as separate provides eight in total! You can read the details on what was fixed for each character below.

Howdy Howdy Ho!
Can you believe it? We're kicking off the guest column for today's update with yours truly, Kero! You've probably seen me as the handsome costar in CardCaptor Sakura! I've got a nose for gossip and hot fashion with a healthy serving of both for you in today's update! It's a special day for this character pack as you might have noticed, but we can't just start the show with a show stopper. Let's get into the biggest update this pack has seen yet!
You probably saw this coming if you've noticed the trend of characters arriving in this pack. Gary Oak has arrived to round out the Pokémon team. This trainer is known for his strong Pokémon and brings one of his trustiest members; Eevee! It's shiny coat and bright eyes really brings out how well trained it is. While it will later evolve to Umbreon, think of it as a snapshot in time because Gary is here to put other racers to shame with his tough attitude. It could be all bark and no bite, but with his stats, he's no pushover, and he's certainly not just another Ash Ketchum! You'll also be able to change his shirt color which is maybe a little plain, but it does allow you to make him more 'blue' like a certain other trainer out there. Now if you're wondering if his cheerleading squad shows up at all, well Reading Racer you're in luck! But only the best racers will get to summon them at the end of the race. I.e. get first place. I'm sure that's no problem for an ace trainer gunning for the top spot but lets see how well that ego works out on the race track.
Alright, we're almost there race fans. But we've got a bonus racer for the pack to talk about!

Looking pretty festive there, Brock! You also happened to make friends with an Alolan Geodude while you were at it. Brock has already arrived in this character pack but is now a little spicier! The large sombrero and open shirt really shows off those pecks! But I suppose that doesn't explain why he has this in the first place. You might have seen this outfit before when you see him perform his song "Brock's Paradise" when he celebrates something he likes just as much as Pokémon; girls!
Look Brock, I know you get excited about girls you really like. But maybe you're going a bit overboard when you're celebrating. In any case, this bonus racer is not available in the general pack and for the tech savvy of you readers out there, this is also a 'Lua only' racer. You can load both this and the original Brock & Geodude racer at the same time and choose between the two with ease.
And now without any further ado...
There she is! My good buddy Sakura has finally joined SRB2Kart! Now this is a very special occasion race fans. Not only does she sport her iconic dress made by her good friend Tomoyo, she has a brand new vehicle modeled after the initial look of the Sealing Wand made by the great magician Clow Reed. You can really see the similarities with the front 'beak' of the car with the side 'eyes' attached to the wings for excellent mobility. Its a very light vehicle that allows for quick speed. (But this may also be prone to being knocked around easy by nearby heavy racers!) This skilled magician is ready to hit the tarmac in style!
But wait race fans, there's also two ways to play as Sakura with one of them featuring yours truly in the lua version of Sakura! I fly around and stick around to support my pal during the race (Or battle if you prefer that mode!) Hey, moral support is an important tool when you're driving fast! But you can also race without me with the non-lua version of Sakura. I get it. In case I'm too hot for tournament play I know when to sit out.
Wow, that's two racers and one bonus racer to add to this collection of drivers ready to go! Can you handle this excitement?! Let me ask you this, did you notice how each group of racers are split up into different teams? While Sakura is out here with just me, what does that mean for the future? Where is that punk kid Syaoran Li? What about Tomoyo? Can she juggle the steering wheel with her camera? I certainly don't see no Rayearth team right now. So who is coming next? Let your pal Kero know what YOU think! Who YOU want to see! I want to see that comment section light up! (Hey! Can I get a vote for me? I've got some mean driving skills too!) This may be the end of my guest column but that doesn't mean I won't be back later. I'm sure my buddy is already going to give those Sailor racers a run for their money. But we gotta even the playfield just a little, am I right?

This is a compatibility update for V1.5 of SRB2Kart. This includes updates for lua versions of Ranma Saotome, Shampoo and Brock & Geodude. This covers the individual racers as well as the bundled character file.

The Pewter City gym leader Brock has finally arrived for SRB2 Kart to join his longitme companions, Ash and Misty. Partnered up with Geodude, Brock features a notable advantage over the other two racerss in the pack as Geodude assists Brock through tight corners and help bring some muscle when rubbing against the competition. Geodude appears during the race and reacts to Brock's actions through drifting, spinning out and other actions during gameplay.
Just don't mention -that- name.
The Lua code was written by Bartman3010 based off of work originally written by SteelT. Currently, Brock & Geodude is only available as a Lua-only racer. Meaning there is currently no Lua-free version of the racer due to the unique animation created for Geodude. Only the KCL character pack has been updated. A version of the character is available outside of the character packs in the Single Character folder.
1,000 downloads! Incredible! As a celebration this pack has been updated to include it's first bonus character! An alternate version of Ash & Pikachu in their Ultra Guardian uniforms as seen in the Sun & Moon TV series. This version only appears as a separate character in the Single Characters folder in the archive. Adding this character will not overwrite the normal Ash & Pikachu character and their stats are identical, so choose whichever one you prefer. You'll also find a unique victory signpost when you take first place!
There are no other updates to this pack, so feel free to skip this update if you've already downloaded the latest version and are not interested in the bonus character.
UPDATE: Corrected a few art frames for UG Ash & Pikachu after the initial update went live.
The lonesome sorcerer turned chimera, Zelgadis Greywords, gas arrived in Kart on Leonguy's MKWii bike! His heavier weight makes it difficult to gain speed, but he'll have no problem making up for it with his ability to drift boost so quickly, leaving lighter racers in some serious trouble!

Few racers have received some graphical updates, fixes as well as a fix for potential conflicts with racers created by other users.
Boy-Type and Girl-Type Ranma - Internal file names changed to avoid conflicts with other characters. If you do not run into this issue, you do not need to update this character.

UPDATED RACERS!
It's been over a year since Ash and Misty has arrived in SRB2 Kart. Now both racers have received updated artwork and refinements. By popular demand you'll no longer need to send in your postcards to change Ash Ketchum's hat as changing your color now alters the color of his iconic cap. Misty's colors now affect the color of Psyduck to stand out among the other racers. You can go from classic Yellow, to Shiny Periwinkle or even pure orange.

In addition to new character art, Ash & Pikachu feature all new signpost art. Misty & Psyduck's signpost art got an update and finally both Boy-Type and Girl-Type Ranma feature signpost art. Just as before when playing with the lua version of the character, the signpost that appears is determined by which type of Ranma is chosen by the player.
Hey, you have anime characters in your kart racer and Lina was nowhere to be found! "What happened to Lina? Give Lina a vehicle to race in!" I'm sure you're all yelling this, right? So, for all of you in Lina withdrawal, here comes Lina Inverse for SRB2Kart! Riding the Mario Kart Wii motorbike from Leonguy, the sorcery genius takes advantage of the lighter motorbike with great speed. What does the motorbike have to do with magic and sorcery? Look, its a miracle that Lina has made it here in the first place! You can ask these questions later after she takes the first place podium finish.
Of course the spotlight for this update doesn't go to just Lina Inverse, there's updates for all characters in this update! Now every character features brand new wanted icons! Ash's Pikachu and Misty's Psyduck are no longer obscured by the rankings in the 'placing' icons. Misty also sports an updated signpost when she takes first place! Unless of course Lina gets there first, right?

Aiyah! Shampoo is here! Another one of Ranma's finces has entered the race. Presenting both girl-type and cat-type versions of the charcter, the pack also includes a 'cursed' version of the character where cold-water changes girl-type Shampoo to cat-type Shampoo. Both versions feature identical stats, leaving your choice of character to your preference. New lua options and information are available by typing "shampoo_help" in the console during gameplay.
In addition, the character pack now features lua and non-lua versions of the pack as well as individual characters and extras placed under one *.zip file.
