It's Alt Knuckles, and he's ready to smash and drill his way into SRB2!




Abilities

Punch (Ground/Air)


Pressing Spin will activate the Punch, allowing you to boost your acceleration and smash baddies!

Uppercut


Double jump to boost your height in mid-air. It's useful for gaining height on higher platforms!

Stomp


Pressing Custom 1 will cause you to slam down to a halt! It's useful for drilling down faster and boosting height up through a spring.

Miscellaneous


- Pressing Spin will allow them to curl mid-air.
- Pressing Custom 3 with 100+ rings while in your super form will allow you to become Hyper.
- The "alt_hypermusic" command allows you to pick 6 different tracks for your form.

This mod isn't really bad but there's really some defects here and there, like the lack of a glide ability, you really decided to remove knuckles's most iconic skill huh-

the character is nice! though I'm gonna admit, the uppercut kinda makes him a bit slower without a glide, you could put the glide on custom 2 because it only serves for his slide or have the ability to glide after a uppercut. But honestly great character, when I did a speedrun with it and base knuckles they were only 30 seconds apart (base knuckles won but that don't matter) tbh though the glide is the only thing holding your character back, but great work, keep it up!

Yes, everyone has noticed that the glide has been absent since it was released. I'll probably bring back the Glide in some form since I haven't found a way to let players maintain a stable speed with the Glide.

The doesn't really feel like Knuckles. He no longer has a glide and has some generic uppercut (which is just a glorified double jump) a punch that's good ig but very boring. And a stomp that's only useful on springs. He has lost all speedrun potential and is just...weird.

I wanted to represent him more in his SA2 moveset but it was difficult to put in his Glide ability. And he does have actual speedrunning potential because he even has Momentum built in. I'll probably decide to change his moveset, the review still doesn't satisfy me. But it gives me some suggestions to put in.

Really fun character to play as, his moveset's simple but has a LOT of potential if you play him well enough.
Overall great character, and i'm glad to have been a part of this project.
