(1.1.1 Update) Chaos Pack

(1.1.1 Update) Chaos Pack 1.1.1

Hi all,
This update fixes the SIGSEGV / Out of Memory crash that could happen in Station Square in software mode, as well as some minor graphical fixes and optimizations for this map.

Thank you for playing and continuing to find bugs and give feedback.

Huge thanks to DylanDude, Qlonever and Turret 49 on the SRB2 discord for their help diagnosing and fixing the map!

More updates to come 👍
Hello,
I want to thank everyone for playing my map pack and leaving great feedback.
I've taken some of that feedback and made my first major update.

Here are the biggest changes:

  • Fixed skybox rendering in software mode
  • Heavily reduced file size to maxsend and other server issues
  • Minor tweaks on all maps

Aquatic Ruin Zone
Huge overhaul, including but not limited to:
  • Heavily optimized for better performance with both renderers
  • Tweaked level layout, more fun to play
  • Prettier with more foliage and whatnot
  • New skybox
  • New Act 1 Music (OGG)
  • New Mid Boss music (OGG + Midi)
  • Greater variety of enemy spawns

Station Square
  • Heavily optimized for better performance with both renderers
  • Fixed radar
  • Added sign explaining why you can't go to Twinkle Park
  • Fixed invisible walls on train track edge
    • You can now go on the tracks and loop around
  • Increased difficulty; enemies spawn in more places
  • Minor graphical tweaks
  • (I'm aware of the SIGSEGV in the back area. A fix is forthcoming).

BobOmb Battlefield
  • Fixed a rare crash that could happen near the rotating bridge
  • Minor layout tweaks
Sand Castle Zone

This map has been completely replaced because the original kind of sucked and was too laggy.

Block Fort
  • Increased difficulty slightly

Lastly I would encourage people use the OpenGL renderer if possible for the best performance.
