The Story of Uncapped Revengence Discord the 3rd v4.1.0

So is there a way to disable the April fools text for settings? I mean its funny as hell but sometimes I just want it disabled. Also is there any plans for a new update. At all?
I ended up breaking the way to reset the text in-game somehow, so in the meantime, this new build version here should relieve you of the text, and even fix a good amount of bugs too.

And, as the user "tha man with gun" mentioned, the newest update should be out when 2.2.14 comes out or afterwards, but looking at what I have left, there's a chance that it could come out maybe sometime next weekend or so, but I still have to see.

Regardless, I hope that new build solves your issues.

hi! im new to linux compiling and linux in general and im getting an error when compiling the source code
/home/woah/The-Story-of-Uncapped-Revengence-Discord-the-3rd/src/STAR/netcode/smkg-d_clisrv.c:63:(.text+0x44): undefined reference to `csprng'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [Makefile:327: ../bin/lsdl2srb2.debug] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/woah/The-Story-of-Uncapped-Revengence-Discord-the-3rd/src'
make: *** [Makefile:8: all] Error 2
i built the original srb2 code and didnt get this issue, so i guess im doing something wrong here?
i feel like im missing a dependency, but im not really sure what "csprng" could be referring to or how to install it.
i was also wondering if the source code to the new build found in the discussion tab was on github/gitlab so i could compile that code instead.

I have this error on Linux too, which I reported here HERE. @StarManiaKG will push new commit addressing this issue.

its releasing with 2.2.14 or a bit after its release when thats coming out? idk but prob soon.
Right now, I believe it's just some command and controller stuff I need to work on. Netgames also work pretty much perfectly from what I've seen too, but more testing wouldn't be too much of a burden.

At the moment though, I've added the latest beta builds I have to The Assets Repository, under the releases folder, so if you want a new build in the meantime, there's one there for everyone.

I'll start uploading beta versions there after each commit I make, so just be sure to check there frequently. But with everything being said, that's everything I got for right now though.

YOOHOO!

When 2.2.14 comes out, how many time will it take until v6 is released? @StarManiaKG
I mean, I usually structure major releases based on the release version, but since, from what I know, apparently 2.2.15 won't be a thing, and 2.2.16 definitely won't exist, it'll just depend on whether or not I decide if I build has enough major features to classify it as another major version.

Not sure. The MD5 requirement for tsoudt3rd.pk3 doesnt match up with the latest beta release. So I can't tell.... Either way. I can just wait for the release. Dw.

What I meant is: once 2.2.14 releases, how many time do you think you'll take to release a tSoURDt3rd build that is compatible with it?

I know it's a beta release, but it seems like the 64-bit build requires some files like, IIRC, libFLAC.dll that it doesn't have on its own (or in the vanilla build SRB2 files either.)

Oh, I get it now, sorry I misunderstood. I'd like to say maybe one or two weeks depending on my schedule, since 4.0 already has bits and pieces of 2.2.14's code, but ultimately time will tell.

I've come to make an announcement!

Assuming I don't run into any bugs while testing and coding the last bits of 4.0, I think it's safe to say that it'll be coming out sometime this weekend. So, be prepared for that.

That's the version compatible with .13 right?

Hey all, sorry about the long wait, some weird bugs with netgames and coronas came up and I've been fixing them as I go along, as I want you guys to have the best experience with this build. The netgames are fixed and lag free again, so I just gotta fix the corona positioning when using a certain OpenGL setting, and fix some looppoints on some tracks, so the new release should come out some time later today, but if that changes, I'll let you all know.
