TA Tails - Straight Outta Cocoa Island

Tails comes to stop Dr. Robotnik and his latest schemes! But this time, he came with a few tricks and gadgets with him!

The first thing you may notice when playing as TA Tails is emblems have now been replaced with powerups to collect. There are 5 total powerups scattered around the world, see if you can collect them all, but be warned, Tails can only use 1 powerup at a time so adjust your playstyle accordingly!

Bug Fix Galore

HUGE thanks to SilicDev for basically doing all the emblem fixes!!!
- Fixed an issue with powerups still spawning after you collect them and died/restarted the level, essentially making it so you could get every powerup from 1 emblem location.
- Adjusted the shoe powerup to be faster, giving more incentive to go after them. (Changed the value from 36 to 40).
- Fixed an issue with the robot not using its flying sprites while underwater.

It looks very amazing. I only wish if you can also implement powerups like the character ones. Sonic gives Spindash and Knuckles gives Punches for instance. It could change the gamestyle over his counterpart

More powerups are coming in the future. Keep an eye out
 
TA is still being worked on, its just taking a while because I'm wanting to do a revamp on some things, thank you for your patience!

Here's another little small update on how TA is coming along.

I didn't get a lot accomplished because of just how long it took to get the house to actually work without giving you powerups that you haven't obtained and its menu stuff but its finally all completed so now I can work on adding the missing powerups and the text explaining the powerups.

I also rebinded all of his abilities to Fire as well as added another use for the Helmet

Badnik bouncing with the helmet looks so fun !! I like how you still cant crawl through small spaces with the spindash, making you use Mecha Tails for those areas!

Is the artstyle gonna remain with the genesis trilogy style or are they going to be TA styled in the future?

For now it will be Genesis but in the future, when I'm able to hire someone, I wanna make the sprites Tails Adventure inspired in the SRB2 artstyle (maybe)

Couldn't Tails also Spin Dash in mid air in Tails Adventure?
Tried to give Tails this but it caused a bunch of issues that weren't worth the trouble fixing just to keep that so he will only have the grounded spindash
