Starpost Warp is a script that allows players to teleport to checkpoints. There are four modes: off, only after the player finishes, only after the player has passed the checkpoint, and all checkpoints.
This mod was inspired by the Exit Move script for 2.1.

Commands/Controls
  • swarp_mode <0-3>
    • Default: 3
    • Modes:
      • 0/Off
      • 1/All - warping to any checkpoint
      • 2/Checkpoint - warping to any checkpoint the player has passed.
      • 3/Finished - warping only after the player finishes
  • Use "Previous Weapon" and "Next Weapon" to warp to the previous or next checkpoint.
Changelog
  • v1.1
    • Added text showing controls after player finishes
    • Fixed player sprite not facing forward the moment after teleporting
  • v1.2
    • Changed swarp_finished to swarp_mode due to added settings
    • Added an off mode and a mode for warping to checkpoints the player hasn’t been to
    • Fixed being stuck in 2D mode after warping to a 2D section
    • Fixed not being in the proper gravity state for checkpoints on the ceiling

It would help if anything in game specified that Next Weapon/Previous Weapon are what let you warp, but still, welcome to releases!
 
wow, this is an extremely impressive bit of work. this is obviously going to be something absolutely huge in netgames, and i'm grateful for that lol. great work.
 
Thanks for the feedback! I did an update that adds text after a player finishes that shows the controls.
