A Slime from the Dragon Quest series slurp-rises the competition!
Speed = 3
Weight = 2
The Slime's squishy, light-weight body gives it both goo-reat acceleration and handling. This means the Slime is slop-timal not just for beginning adventurers to slay, but also for beginning racers to practice with.
If a heavy-weight opponent shows up to knock goo around, take a page from this little monster's book and flee to race another day! It's a bit cowardly, sure...but who-ooze judging?

NEW UPDATE (4/24/23)
The Slime now rides a miniature version of the Schleiman Tank from the Slime MoriMori series! Of course, since the vehicle is basically a toy it doesn't affect the Slime's initial speed or weight in any meaningful way.
