If you're just going to send me a shiny anything, I want a shiny dratini nicknamed Nirvana kthx.
Don't use all caps either, I hate that.

I loved Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Bought all 3 of them and it was awesome (I consider it my "Pokemon High" years). Especially along with Colosseum and Pokemon: XD.

Just did the Arceus Event and got a lvl. 1 Origin Form Giratina who learns moves he normally wouldn't. Fun.

It's not a cheat. He's using a Baton Pass chain to prevent the opponent from switching out, and then uses trick to throw a Choice Scarf on Giratina, preventing him from using any relevant moves. He then proceeds to max out attack and buff speed, passing into the Magikarp at one HP to sweep with a 200 base power Flail with a 400% multiplier on his attack thanks to triple Swords Dance. No matter how bad Magikarp is, with those kinds of buffs it's going to sweep.

Magikarp is far better than Unown and Caterpie thanks to being able to learn Flail, which is actually a legitimately good move. It also learns Swift Swim, which can be triggered by Kyogre in ub3rs for hilarious sweeps.

Sure, it has terrible stats, but 200 base power is nothing to laugh at.

What about those pokemon in RBY where all they could do was harden but there were no offensive moves. Metapod and the one that evolves into the wasp thing. Those were pretty useless unless you had anything to gain from prolonging the battle.

EDIT: Also, what's the point of shiny? Just because they let off a little light they are more rare and more coveted? It's like a holo card except you can't sell it.

Shiny pokemon?
In Generation II, shininess is determined by the individual values (IVs) of a Pokémon. If a Pokémon's Speed, Defense, and Special IVs are 10, and its Attack IV is 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14 or 15, it will be Shiny. This determination allowed for compatibility with Generation I, as if a Shiny Pokémon is traded back, then traded forward, it would retain its shininess. Despite the bonus of backward compatibility allowing for a Shiny Pokémon to learn Generation I TMs, provided it was a Generation I Pokémon, Shiny Pokémon are only slightly above average in terms of IVs.

Now a days.. I think they thrashed the "better IVs" idea.

They did; and honestly it's a much better system than what they normally had.

Pender29 from Gamefaqs/Gamespot said:
When third generation came around, a new method was created. Shininess was determined by a combination of three things; your trainer ID (the five digit number on your trainer card), your secret ID (a second five digit number generated by the game that you can’t normally see, hence it being called a secret ID), and the Pokemon’s PID (personality value). Without getting too detailed, basically those three numbers are converted into binary and plugged into a mathematical formula. If the result is less than 8, the Pokemon will be shiny.

Complicated system is complicated, but with the Secret ID in your possession you can get Shiny Pokemon much quicker than normal. In Heart Gold and Soul Silver it becomes much easier since you can catch a Shiny Gyarados in the main story.

Pender29 said:
Remember that third number, the Secret ID? If you can find out what yours is, you can plug it into that program to find out what frames will also give you shiny Pokemon. The trick of course is finding it, it is supposed to be a secret after all. If you are lucky enough to already have a shiny Pokemon on your game, you can plug its stats into a calculator to determine your Secret ID. You can also do this if you have a few shiny Pokemon obtained from the Pokeradar (Pokeradar shinies are generated in a slightly different manner than regular random ones, so you need a few to be accurate).

If you’re playing HeartGold or SoulSilver, this is actually quite easy, since you can use the Red Gyarados to find your Secret ID. The Red Gyarados is generated using the same method as a Pokeradar shiny, so you just catch it a few times, record its stats each time, and use the calculator to find your Secret ID.

Anywho; I have a Hacked Shiny Latios (Green for the win) sure, but it's stats are pretty low for a level 70 if you ask me. I'll train him the best I can; he beat most of Red's team though
The ones that gave him the EV's I wanted (Pikachu, Charizard, Lapras, and Snorlax). Only needs 2 more HP EV's and about 250+ in Sp. Attack and Speed. My Lvl. 67 Meganium took care of his Blastoise pretty well, and Magnezone and Honchkrow (lvl. 55ish) took care of Venusaur (trying to avoid using Latios).
