Almost 6 years of progress, yet I'm still trying to improve. I want to thank those who have stayed with me during the development of Pencil! What you see here is a complete collection of all of Pencil's iterations throughout the years of 2019-2025. The first version of Pencil's sprites were made when 2.1 was still the current version of SRB2. They were also in pretty rough quality due to them being retrieved from a GIF (because I lost the original sprites), so some resizing and touchup needed to be done. As for the second versions onward, they're for 2.2 (although the sprites for the second version didn't get too far into development before the third iteration). The fourth and current version is the one that I'm still continuing to work on to this day, and I have hope that I'll get this finished someday.

TL:DR - Thanks for supporting me and following me, here's the complete lineup of Pencil iterations throughout the years since 2019.

You're a legend for staying in the works! I mean, 6 years? I've only seen a few go that far for a mod (*Cough cough* MSV6 *Cough cough*), and I am one proud of how much you've improved! I mean, the difference is UNCANNY!

So... this is sudden. Apparently 2.2.14 just released with a lot of new stuff. Not sure how this will affect this mod's development, but things are going smoothly for now ._.

I just found a beta version of Pencil in my files, it's the second iteration! Do note that the colors are assigned to the eraser for some reason.

as someone who has been following this mod for a while. that run cycle does NOT look good. unless it's supposed to be faster in-game, then it's still kinda bad.

the motion blur is choppy and doesn't loop properly (on top of just looking bad)
and there being NO animation outside of the previously mentioned blur

compared to the walk animations (and the signpost sprite the hurts my eyes that I genuinely think may trigger someone's epilepsy) the run animation kinda lacks

yeeeah i'm not feeling it either. this is just a test animation btw (oh, and the signpost animation isn't that fast ingame don't worry)
