Loosely based on Third Strike's parrying..
Parry, almost every hazard in-game. By default, you can NOT parry SPBs or Jawz...
...unless you turn it on. (see commands below)

Instructions:
When you're not holding an item, press ITEM to parry.
Commands:
Admin commands:
parryon - Turn parrying on.
parryoff - Turn parrying off.
parry_frames <1-10> - Set how many frames a parry is active for. Default is 5.
parry_racemessage <on/off> - Turn on/off reminder at start of race. On by default.
parry_spamfilter <on/off> - Turn on/off spam filter for parrying. On by default.

parry_spb <on/off> - Turn on/off SPB parries. Off by default.
parry_jawz <on/off> - Turn on/off Jawz parries. Off by default.
parry_punish <on/off> - Turn on/off parry punishes when parrying SPBs or Jawz. On by default.

Local commands:
parry_hud_notify <on/off> - Turn on/off message that appears when you successfully parry. On by default.

So i don't know if you're still around, i tried to make sure put in commands turning off "jaws parry", but i think it still does.

Hey, so i tried running this mod on my friend's server. It was a fun idea, however, you can spam parry pretty much without issue. A slowdown isn't really a good enough punishment for spamming. I feel like it should lock successful parries out for around 5 - 10 seconds. Try as I might to code this in, I couldn't get it to work and had to delete the mod. Hopefully you'll agree and work on a fix for this.
