dude I'm not that stupid lmao. I UNDERSTAND that levels are not created for specific characters. Are you really sure I only played each level once? I completed every level at least 3 times including vanilla characters. I just really like how Bean breaks the entire level design with his cool ability.

I tried to play this level as both Sonic and Fang and I couldn't do anything.

Not entirely true. I just watch how the creators of the level make levels both for those who can spin and for those who do not have such an opportunity.
 
30! Man... no wonder it takes so long. It being a collab now majes sure that the artists want to make everything look pretty, the level designers want to make it fun and programers want to make it polished. It happened like that in the OLDC 2023.

I think it will be renamed to oldc 2024 because, it's 2024.

There's a lot of things wrong with yfyfyfyfyfy's reviews, I do think there are parts that feel rather nitpicky or just pretty rude in general. I don't think playing as custom characters for 12 images is one of them. Also what's with the excuse against developing a level with Fang and Amy in mind? They're vanilla characters. They are reasonably playable by anybody by default in 2.2. Some people, I dare say, enjoy playing as both characters. That is a valid criticism.

So, this is huge.

@Avalice , one of the collaborators uploaded a video of a beta version of this OLDC a few months ago, in it there is a very early version of HillTop Fort that is almost nothing like the original, made before @Othius got their hands on it. And about two weeks ago as of writing, @Sandwichface posted a comment encoded in hex, which translates to:

Ah yes, my fun little stealth entry. I'm surprised nobody found Mammothmogul suspicious at all, but I guess intentionally putting zero effort into the actual level design helped sell the character. It was still pretty fun to be a part of this in some way, all things considered.

It turns out that MammothMogulFan22 was Sandwichface this whole time! This was also confirmed in his Trash Bin Central server.

Sunset Skyscrapers doesn't seem to be beatable as characters like Sonic who lack any verticality: First gif was taken in v1.2 and the second one in v1.3. The emblems in this map also seem to be undetectable by the emblem radar. Which makes me think they're not properly defined in the SOC, as I...

You’re 4(four) versions behind. The current version of the game is 2.2.13, the OLDC uses a feature introduced in 2.2.11, UDMF, making it incompatible with earlier versions.
 
I honestly didn't expect to see an accurate recreation of the first world in blocksworld, I hadn't played that game in years.
