Is there a way to turn this sprite off by chance? idk why but it only shows in netgames and it bothers me to look at (no offense I just really hate the meme)

There is not. Its a chat command "pipebomb" so if you don't wanna see it, just don't say that. Just know it doesn't stop others from using it though

just noticed it another mod messing with CD sonic falling sprites, not the emote itself ill see if I can find out which one

Seems to be one of these 15 mods, I'll do process of elimination.

After testing, it seems the sonic R character mods cause sonics spring falling sprites to be replaced with the first frame of the pipe bomb dance. If I had to guess, I would assume it's more on the Rchars side of things since that mod hasn't been updated in a while (I should mention that if you load sonic first, then the Rchars mod, the glitch only happens sometimes, but still happens).

I'll see if I can figure out the issue. If I can't then there's not much I can do lol. I'm still very beginner when it comes to things like this, but thanks for informing me!

This was discussed above. I already have a fix for it in place, the update just isn't out yet :) It has to do with addon order and something messing with CD's sprites if not loaded in the correct order, such as TA Tails being loaded before CDSonic is

This update comes with an OPTIONAL complete overhaul to how CDSonic controls.
  • Added a new lua file to CDSonic, Classic Based Physics. You can find the mod here (Its open assets) https://mb.srb2.org/addons/classic-based-physics-changes.6399/
  • Added a new command to toggle the physics on or off "cdphysicstoggle"
    • The physics ONLY affect CDSonic and do NOT cause resyncs if other CDSonics have it toggled differently. So it is safe for server usage...

Another small bugfix, sorry

Sorry for so many updates my ADHD brain does this lol
  • Fixed an issue where if you had speedshoes or were super and charged a spindash with Classic Physics turned on, you were able to move around.
    • There's still a very minor issue where you move a teeny tiny bit when holding forward before charging a spindash but it 100% shouldn't affect anything
