I attempted to do 2 things with this pack,
One, make a full blown tribute to Angel Island, the central Sonic setting. It contains all Sonic 3 K Zones (With exception of one, sorry Doomsday) plus some Sonic Adventure, Advance and even Archie inspired locations, and some nods to Sonic Battle and Rivals as well.

Second, I wanted more practise in making levels designed where the player can run at top speed at all times, and see how much level design I...

Hey, really nice little set of maps. You put a lot of personality and effort into making your maps really unique and I dig it. Looking forward for the eventual additions to it.

Few things though I've noticed that could be patched up a little bit:

-The title screen image is off-centered from the menu text/general screen

-The music is strangely high pitched, is that intentional?

-Some later pit areas lack death-zones entirely, particularly the last scene where eggman falls into the pit (and the whole surrounding area in-between, you can quite literally walk alongside the Flying Battery instead of even entering it)

Thats about it for the gripes though, overall good stuff. Look forward to more of it

Wow, I dropped the ball on a lot of things right at the finish line.
Err, next update ^^;

As for the music, I sped it up to make it more hectic, which includes a higher pitch.
So it's intentional, yeah.

Dw about it, in general its still a pretty good little set of maps (Like Sol Sestania, I can't tell you how many times Ive played that and just explored the city)

and that's understandable, when I hear sped up audio I'm just used to it being some sort of error lol

273th time is the charm.

So I cut the second level in pieces and took out the opening area, the split is in a better position, I went trough all the tricks I know, so this is as good as I can get it.
While I notice minor lag in Software mode on my end, in OPENGL mode it plays smooth as butter for me, so should be okay in that mode.

Fixed a few more minor issues, so hopefully this is the last frivilous update and I won't have to bother you again until I have the proper BIG main update with the extra levels and...

Where are the emblems? Emblem hints looks like Greenflower's emblem hints...

The required times in Record Attack are too low, 30 seconds to complete a stage...
 
Yeah I am still having issues with this mod. Most noticeably in the run level. It starts fine but then my FPS goes straight to 7.

Don't you mean some..."TRIPLE TROUBLE"?
 
Yeah I am still having issues with this mod. Most noticeably in the run level. It starts fine but then my FPS goes straight to 7.
When the player's far away enough, the balls the robots throw are spawning heaps of invisible player 4 starts that never despawn. It's a bit convoluted to explain how it's happening, but the A_FishJump states in SOC_BALL need to have their VAR2 set to 0, as their current setting (4) is literally making all the lag. I hope Roger sees this!

Thanks Vanillaaawoaaah and Turret 49 for pointing toward what might cause the slowdown.
Fixed, so it should work smoothly for everyone now? It works for me.
This is NOT the proper update I promised yet, altough I took the oppurtunity to fix and change up some other bits now I was updating this anyway.
Biggest change, a lot of people on Youtube complained about the music, so this time the proper zone music plays in each area, with only remixes and special tricks on the more approperiate...

I prefer how it was before, but tell me what you think.
Ah, I'm torn... it's cool going through the areas and hearing what's essentially a medley remix (my favourite transition is Marble Garden Zone's!), but Carnival Night Zone and Launch Base Zone sound...different? I don't recognize the tunes. Also the way it went from the intense Big Arm theme to just.. Flying Battery Zone felt like all the energy was lost. Isn't that supposed to be taking place inside the Death Egg, anyway?
Lastly, the Mystic Ruins theme felt really out of place to me, like it doesn't have the same energy/style the stage is asking for, or doesn't really get enough time to get started. Maybe change the track when passing through the warp ring, rather than when breaking the wall?
