All this script does is turn allowjoins off during intermissions, and turn it back on again when any map is loaded. This is useful because of a bug where a player who joins the game during an intermission does not receive a gamestate from the server, and does not get synched with the NetVars of any lua scripts.

Appears to work and has a good purpose currently while the bug you've mentioned exists.

Anyone using this should be aware however that this will overwrite any setting you as the server host have for the allowjoin console variable, and will do so each time you enter the intermission and load a level.
